Truly the most delicious meal I have had in a long time!! Not a busy place, laid back, the chef is amazing and takes special requests… Delicious!!

I’m only giving 1 star bc the waiter was great! The food is disguising. We had a party of 9, only kids ate their food … probably because they didn’t know any better! No gage on salt! Meat was all cooked to well when ordered med rare. Gross… gross… gross… oh, and the charcuterie board - mystery meat - waiter didn’t even know!

This place has come a long way this year. Excellent bone in ribeye tonight and salmon. You need to give this place a try if you haven't in a while. Highly recommend.

I ate dinner here twice. The first evening I ordered the crab cakes as my entrée and they were good. However the next night unfortunately I ordered the chicken breast which were so over-cooked they were dry and hard to even cut with a knife! Awful! And they should have been sent back. The bad definitely outweighed the pleasant!

My wife and I had dinner here this past Saturday and it the food was good. I had a bit of her fillet and it was delicious and perfectly cooked to her specifications. For her starch she ordered the mashed potatoes and they were VERY salty…so much so that they were not edible. We told the server and he was understanding and offered to select something different, which was The wild mushroom risotto….it was probably the best thing we tasted that evening! I had the catfish, and it was also good served with hush puppies and coleslaw. The desserts were a hit, too. We opted for the pumpkin cheese cake and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was incredible…large piece of chocolate cake (enough for 2-3 people) with a layer of chocolate cheese cake included.

We are here currently and have been sat for about 20 minutes. Servers literally at the next table. We’ve yet to have anyone besides the one who originally sat us speak to us. The one who sat us is a server as well. No drinks , no checking on us …. nothing. Definitely not impressed. Literally look at me and look down. Feel like I’m being avoided intentionally. Don’t recommend this place at all.I do have to add that the breakfast crew however is a stellar example of service. It is buffet style but they were consistently checking on everyone at a quick step.

Natalie was perfect in her serving. A blessing from God she was. The steaks ribeye and filet were perfect. We could not ask for a better dining experience on our 40th anniversary. I hope you give them a try.

Tuesday night in June visit and we were almost the only customers, but we enjoyed the quiet. Lakeview is accurate, but the lake is 1/2 to 3/4 mile away so we actually had a better view of the squirrels going through contortions to get food out of the bird feeders. My wife and I both had steaks that were excellent. We split a house salad and added the sautéed garlic mushrooms as a side. They were heavily over salted. The wine list was modest, but quite adequate. The creme brûlée and chocolate cake desserts were excellent. Service was pleasant and attentive, but that would be expected with almost no other diners. We would be happy to dine there again, but would also be willing to explore other steak restaurants in the region.
Fantastic dinner, had a great time! The peppercorn steak was incredible and the strawberry cheesecake is probably the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend.

Definitely did not have any similar experience to the bad reviews listed on here. While simple in its decor and ambiance, the food was incredible and service was fantastic. While the restaurant was slow and the food took its time, it was not out of par for a steakhouse. Never rush quality. Each course of the meal was better than the last. The peppercorn Filet was incredible along with a nice bottle of wine to pair, could not have been happier. The fresh cheesecake was the perfect icing on the cake to a fantastic evening.Overall I would highly recommend giving this place a shot as we did. Will definitely be back again soon.

First visit to this steakhouse and what a disappointment! I ordered filet mignon medium well and received medium rare. I sent it back and it was returned still medium rare. The broccolini was very tough and cold. The server, although very polite, was not knowledgeable about the menu and couldn’t answer questions about food choices, advising he had only been working there 2 weeks. In addition, the restaurant had an odor.It was a waste of money for a meal that was not edible. I won’t be dining at this restaurant in the future and will not recommend it to others.

Where to start. Slow service. Salads look/tasted like they were made yesterday and left to sit in the refrigerator. Ordered crab cakes, they never came. Ordered 2 steaks medium rare, both were well done. Baked potato was so cold the butter wouldn't even melt. Ordered a loaded baked potato, the bacon was so cold the grease had solidified. My husband ordered rice, they were "out"....so he ordered a loaded baked potato, he was brought asparagus...which was...you guessed it, cold. The waiter magically showed up with rice tgat the chef "whipped" up just for him. We told him we would pay for our wine. Waited on our waiter to come back with our check for 20 minutes. For a place that calls them self "up scale" they have failed miserably.
