I love the food but I took my family and it took over 30 minutes just to place my order.

Is it for vegans the world's largest growing family? Heard about this on Facebook and to on a Monday while checking out UT Dallas also in Richardson. Went to my cousin's graduation at the Jesuit HS in Dallas in 1980 so there's something so special for me when I go back to Dallas

Temporarily Closed due to fire. Thereβs a sign posting another location.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. But Iβm sitting here in the parking lot right now, on a Friday afternoon, and they are closed. The restaurant has burned down πππ

I think I go here once a week for lunch & I'm always guaranteed to have leftovers π there's enough to share or be greedy & keep it to yourself π
Love the food, meatloaf, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, yams & mixed veggies never disappoint. Tastes like I made it at home. Beef tips & rice, spaghetti, baked chicken.....delicious π

This was certainly an experience. It felt like being served by family, but the cost, definitely felt like strangers!!! All in all, the food here is delicious. And if you operate in girl math, each serving will feed you twice so it's half as much tonight with no cooking tomorrow. And that's good cause my $18 fish ( on the menu board) turned into a $26 fish at the register. Same 2 sided. Same bread option. Don't get me wrong, the food smacks, but I couldn't eat there often... tough on a sista budget. What do you think???

My issue isn't with the food, it was the price. One lady told me a different price than what was rang up at the register. It was $5 more! Yes, different meals are priced differently but it would be nice if the staff were with one accord on the pricing

All of the food was cooked with Care bursting with flavor. And the portions were more than you can eat in one sitting. Simply delicious.
I was so excited to try the food, I drove from Aubrey. First thing I noticed was how dirty the place was. I got the ribs. When I opened the box I immediately saw brown meat like it was old. I took a bite and it was tough meat, there was so much BBQ sauce to hide the discoloration of meat. The ribs were sour.My veggies were watery. The peppers on the table are all expired. They need to close to clean and sanitize the entire restaurant. They need to throw away all food and start fresh. As I'm writing this review, I'm feeling nauseous, I hope I didn't get food poisoning.

Looking for Soul Food in Richardson? You must try Trucker's Cafe. I have enjoyed their food for years. The quality of their food has consistently been superb.
When you order takeout, make sure you try the smothered pork chops, catfish, variety of salads, corn bread, and candied yams.
Food was good and service was great!
The best place when you want a good home cooked meal
The food was really good here. The aunties were in the kitchen! Big portions and great customer service. It wasn't very busy but people were coming in! I dined in!
Stumped on this place by accident. Not sure what there hours are but there were people behind the counter at the door. The open sign was on on the far right side of the store but the door was locked when tired it. All the sudden I hear we are closed being screamed at me from behind the counter. All I wanted was a got menu so I could go back because we had already eaten dinner. Could only imagine how they would treat me if I actually ate at this place. Will not be back to try it
