How to begin. The start is a good place. I asked my boyfriend which was his favorite Italian dish- chicken piccata or chicken parmigiana and he recommended chicken piccata: when I walked into Italiano’s the atmosphere grabs you and says welcome to my place, relax and enjoy great food made from the heart. I was greeted nicely by more than one employee and told them I was new to their establishment. When I explained my above reference and the fact chicken piccata has capers they still recommended it as well ( wasn’t a fan of capers). Having said that, I still ordered the chicken piccata and I’m certainly glad I did. My to go order was still hot and fresh when I got to work, I sat down to try it and I became a huge fan. This family owned restaurant in River Oaks, Tx is a gem hidden away among the strip. If you love Italian food, this is a must stop and have a bite. Their menu isn’t complicated and it has a wide variety for everyone.

This family restaurant is great. They have fast service. Food is delicious. The pizza is to our personal liking thin crust not to doughy and not too much marinara and the flavors are there. I love the pizza crust. The garlic bread is amazing.

The owners are great and actually present with customers. They make me want to learn Italian.. The food is perfect the eggplant parmesan is a must!!!! Don't order the fettuccine alfredo, it's too American and you'll miss out on this gem of a restaurant.
