Great little place. The Tacos and salsa were very delicious
Bad experience. They got my order wrong and refused to refund me or at least make the proper dish. Wouldn't recommend
Used to be good went it first opened, food is never same as last time, hardly any meat in a lot their food, but charge high prices for it ... wouldn’t recommend to anyone.. this place went down hill
I love this place! Their barbacoa tacos are amazing and the salsa is my favorite. I heard from the woman inside the restaurant (forgot her name) that they're thinking about extending their hours and im super happy about it
I love this place, get lunch here everytime I'm in the area. I've tried about half of the menu. The barbacoa is my favorite, seasoned pork is a close 2nd. You wont be disappointed with the barbacoa. The girls that work there are super nice and helpful. Great staff.
Good mom and pop food. Nothing fancy but good portions and decent food.
As soon as I walked in and smelled the food cooking on the back, I said to my self, "This place is legit!" This is Authentic. Mexican. Food.
Food was very good and worth the price. Service was excellent..
Good tortas and tacos.. I think they are the same, just the bread or tortillas.. the ranchero beans are the best in town..
Very tasty tacos. Nice people too.
Awesome place... try the tortas
First time visit and it was fairly good
Great service and the food is excellent!
The food wasn’t as good as I was expecting! I will never go back !!
You can't go wrong with anything you order their everything is delicious fresh Services wonderful and it's just a nice small little cozy place.
One of the Mexican eatery places in DFW that actually makes good Mexican food! The salsa is very good and hot (Temp). The order may seem simple or not that much in your mind but trust me, it will fill your belly. Be sure to enjoy with a Mexican coke.
Great tacos!! A little different than normal tacos places but they are fabulous. Queso and guacamole are fresh and yummy!!!
Over priced and low quality food.
Got a load of breakfast burritos for the crew at work. Food was great, and the service was fast.
My favorite hole in the wall Mexican bistro, Huge breakfast burritos there.
Been a customer for years, at first the food was always so delicious... now they are hardly ever open, and the quality of food has gone so down hill I haven't been in months. Salsa verde is amazing. Service seriously depends on who is working. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it is abysmal.... I think the decline on the food could be the quality of the meats they serve. Carne asada tacos used to be so great... no gristle, not greasy, now? You can't just eat a taco, you have to examine the meat first.
Courteous Quick Service will small hole in the wall place they are always the best food daily specials are good too I personally like the spiced pork torta sandwich
Good food and great service
Really bad service. Food took 20 mins. and she forgot my drink. Ordered 8.99 plate and got charge 11.89$. Couldn’t give me an itemized receipt. Food mediocre. Don’t recommend.
Drive the extra mile or so to Northside for good tacos.. for what you pay, your better off driving to the hood.
My daughter and I stopped here this morning. The chorizo was wonderful, not too greasy. The barbacoa tacos were excellent. We will return!
Very friendly staff, food was yummy, the sauce for the chips was a little too watery but had good flavor, my husband said it tasted like caldo(soup) lol, overall it was a good experience and we would definitely be back if we're ever in the area.
My boyfriend and I have been searching for taco places to eat at on Sundays (it's when I'm in town) that are well made. We finally decided to try out this little spot. The food was a solid 3. Tortillas werent warm though the meat was yummy. The salsa was not hot at all and barely had any flavor to it. Definitely not what I was expecting. When we finished eating I stacked up our plates and right as I stood up to pay, I saw a spider jumping across the table. Had it not been for the spider I would have given this place 3 stars but due to that alone this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Will not be returning
Went there yesterday. Very stingy with the meat on the tacos and the taco sauce was too watery. I go there from time to time and never had this issue before. So maybe this was a "one off" day or maybe the owner changed the policy. The tacos are too expensive to cheat the customer by holding back the meat.
Had to ASK for an ENGLISH menu
Ordered 1 beef taco w/cheese!
It was a “STREET†taco- THE SMALL ONE!
Meat was Cold and Tough
$1.89 for this?
I WONT BE BACK!!
Usually slow, staff is nice.
Foods really good LOVE love this place..
Food is always on point, wished they were open later for my convenience lol.
I thought I would try out the place for breakfast. I ordered the chorizo plate which according to the menu, the plate would consist of chorizo, rice and beans. When I was served the food, the plate did not include the rice. The service was not very good. After serving the food, the waitress did not return until I finally got the cook's attention that I needed the waitress's time. If you plan to order tea, please keep in mind that the restaurant charges for a refill of tea. I found that out after she gave me the check.
So, this place is on my way to work. I sooooo wanted it to be good. Sadly, it was not. I ordered two bacon and egg tacos. The doneness of the bacon varied wildly; some was burnt and some was borderline undercooked. Also, one tortilla was a little too charred and the other was soggy with grease that accumulated in the container. I'm not sure how you make breakfast tacos greasy, but they succeeded in doing so. The bright spot was the green sauce. It was really bright and spicy.
I used to like this place. I've been here about 6 times. At the beginning the food was on point, great flavor and great cook on the meat. Service was excellent. I went this Sunday....and the service and food was bad. 1st of all we had 9 ppl total. So they brought us 2 baskets of chips, and 2 hot sauce. with literally 12 chips in each basket. Took our order and did see the waitress again until the food came out. Asked for more chips and hot sauce and they charged us for the xtras. IT'S a Mexican restaurant, we go to fill up on chips and hot sauce. We order tap water. They brought the cups 1/3 full and no ice. So, we asked for ice and again, they counted the ice cubes. Maybe 6 cubes in each glass. Now the food...no flavor and my piece of meet, just dry and tough.
Excellent street tacos!! I had the seasoned pork and a chicken. Both we very good. Served with lots of fresh onion and cilantro. The two sauces, rojo and verde, were placed on table and made fresh daily. Yum! Salsa served with chips was flavorful and served warm. Mexican Coca Cola topped of my meal. Hubby and I had lunch for less than $15. Can't wait to try the breakfast tacos.
Everything tasted good, until I got to the bottom of my chip basket that had a dead fly in it. I showed it to them, they just stared at me. Will not be back.
As always the hole in the wall restaurants are always the best. And this is definitely a little hole... sort of hard to see driving by. We were told it was to go only because of the time but it smelled so good we were okay with that. The cashier didn't speak great English, but I was able to understand her okay, she was very nice. I had the taco place... 2 asada and 2 pastor tacos with rice and beans for $7. It was delicious the meat was so tinder and flavorful. They were filled with meat also not just a bite. My husband got the tacos Rojos, which consisted of 6 chicken beef or both tacos rolled up in red corn tortillas with a salad on top. It was avocado, onion, lettuce, sour cream, radishes, and cheese. He loved it. It was colorful and also only $7. We waited maybe 5 minutes for our meals, and left. The restaurant wasn't very fancy or anything like that a small waiting area and kitchen with traditional decorations and TVs. Def going back.
