It is my frist time to play at a poker room/private club. I am not sure how other poker rooms operate. This is what I have learned from this establishment. You need somebody who already played there to vouch you in. If not, there is a 24 hour waiting period. You have to fill out an application form as well as providing a form of id for them to make a copy. Here is the fee schedule:$10 per visit or $30 per month$10 per hour on the poker table

I have played poker all over the state of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Las Vegas. But this is the first only only place I have ever “tried” to play at that has a 24 hour wait to be able to play. I have driven in to cities like Beaumont and signed the membership form and immediately played a cash game for several hours. What make this place so different then all the other card/poker clubs here in Texas? They also do not do a good job of informing people of this BIG difference on their website, they only mention it in the application section and it sites when it’s not open enrollment, but they do not give dates of open enrollment. Lost a good customer today since today was my only free night to play.
