I called Cappalletti's a few days ahead of time and they allowed me to reserve seating for 25 people with no deposits, additional fees, or bad attitudes. (I had called another Italian restaurant in the vicinity and was met with an attitude and complete unwillingness to help us reserve tables). As we arrived, the waitstaff were very kind and attentive to everyone, and we all had a wonderful meal. The food was great - everyone around me was commenting on how tasty it was. I had their Lasagna Alfredo and it was so creamy and tasty - definitely a scratch-made dish. Others had Salmon Lemon Cream or Chicken Lemon Cream and they loved it! The price point at $14-$15 per entree was very good for the quality of the food. I don't understand the negative reviews - it seems they are operating a top-notch restaurant.

I’d like to first say, me and my friend were desperately trying to find a place to eat and all places had a wait of 30 plus, and it was 2nd of January. This place wasn’t really packed. I too got sidetracked with the name - The “t” switched with the “r”, sounds like the other restaurant. Anyhow, I’d like to say this is not an authentic Italian restaurant, which I thought it was. If you want American- Italian, it does the job. So the dishes were ok. Not really impressed. I didn’t expect the mozzarella on the salad to be sliced mozzarella, which is a huge no-no! - I expected fresh mozzarella- But ok. The lemon chicken with pasta was pretty ok, a little too oily for my taste. Also, not real olive oil, which I was pretty not pleased with. Any Italian would be rolling in their grave. Oye. Also, the service wasn’t the best, but I guess he was new. He really didn’t go out of his way to be a great host and make it a great experience. Anyhow, overall, it was ok. If you’re looking for true Italian, don’t go here, you’ll be disappointed. Thanks for the effort.

This restaurant is very nice, clean and waiting staff is very hospitable and friendly. I brought my mom here for a mother daughter dinner but this would also be very nice for a dinner date. Nice ambiance and music. Not too loud so you can hear yourself speak. Meals come with a salad and the menu has great choices.

My wife myself and my six-year-old daughter went in for dinner. My wife ordered the chicken lemon cream sauce dish I ordered the chicken marsala dish and my daughter ordered the kids fettuccine dish.. My six-year-old daughter's dish came out very heavy on pepper remember it's a kid's dish. My wife's dish came out with salmon. My dish came out with a very thick pasty if you want to call it a marsala dressing. All dishes came out at different times 1st it was my daughter's about 3 or 4 minutes later it was mine and then about 3 or 4 minutes later it was my wife's and my wife's had salmon on it not chicken so we sent it back and they immediately within 2 minutes turn right around and brought it back out. during that time the female cook was washing dishes in the corner and walked over talk to our waiter grabbed a piece of chicken with her hand and started to cook it . . Hygiene education is definitely a necessity at this location And food sanitation. Within 2 minutes of sending back the dish her dish came back without salmon but with chicken obviously it was about roughly 2 minutes that it took to fix the plate so we knew right away there was gonna be fish in this dish and as soon as my wife bit into it she could taste the salmon and taste the fish all they did was swap it out. I don't understand how a restaurant can have a 100 from the health department but have 2" gaps in the bathroom cracks with bugs coming out and vent a hood that is barely working and needs cleaning deeply cause Of all smoke in in the restaurant. During the explanation of our menu the Waiter mentioned we had salads that came with our dishes. So we ordered Cesar only to be charged for Cesar dressing on our bill. This restaurant needs a leader and someone who can make sure things are being done correctly and to taste. Terrible experience

I've been in San Antonio for over 6 months now and I haven't had any Italian food since I left my hometown. This is the first Italian restaurant we've tried and my husband and I were extremely satisfied with our meals. The were dishes we ordered that we devoured so fast, I didn't get any photos! The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful and the service was superb. Complimenti to the chef! LolVegetarian options: Many salad options as a side or a dish.Kid-friendliness: High chairs were available.Parking: Parking lot in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp leading up to the walkway in front of the restaurant.

Great place, good prices. Need to ask if you want less sauce to enjoy the dish. The fries I order was more than enough for us, but wanted to try chicken ParmigianoParking: Plenty of parking

So good! Such great service. Clean atmosphere. Food was delicious and fresh. Started off with fried mushrooms they were big , juicy, great flavor. I got the salmon with capers and lemon sauce and my husband got the shrimp scampi . We were both very impressed with our dishes. Big portions. We highly recommend and will definitely return. I was too stuffed otherwise I would have loved to try the cannoli . Next time!

I saw all the bad reviews and wanted to try it out for myself, I mean I've been to bad restaurants, I've had bad service but this place has been open for over 5 years. A place "that" bad wouldn't able to stay open that long and even less during COVID shutdowns.Walked in and was seated right away, nobody was there, but it was also 2:30 PM the server was nice and professional, answered every question I had and I had a lot. Ordered some Chicken Alfredo Fries first, that caught my attention. They were pretty darn good, horrible for my weight loss program, but delightful for my taste buds. Chicken Lemon was cooked perfectly, the sauce was light and tasty not too lemony not too creamy, pasta was cooked perfectly, capers were an added bonus in flavor. Manicotti with a Meatball was tasty, the sauce was thick and full of flavor, the meatball was a good size, seasoned well and hot. The manicotti was stuffed perfectly with the right amount of cheese.Even the garlic bread they brought out was toasted well with the right amount of butter and garlic. Drinks were never empty either. By the time we left most all of the tables were full. I will be back if im ever in the area again!

It's my first visit so I can't be too sure of authentic but we ordered pasta. It was alright for that, but the sauce was watered down. Meat sauce and ravioli were better but felt store bought. Bread was flavorless. Cannolis were on the sweeter side but cream was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Service and food were great. We both ordered a lunch special which included bread and a salad. I wasn't too fond of the bread as it was crunchy and and I prefer my bread soft. But overall it was a great experience.
The food is EXCELLENT! I ordered the panini since it was lunch and was not disappointed, it was fresh and delicious. Also, definitely order their cheesey bread you can taste all the herbs. The server was the only one there and she was so sweet and attentive, I'll definitely be back.

Are there really this many people that are confusing Cappalletti's with Capparelli's? Am I wrong? Are they ubiquitous? If the flaming hot dumpster fire of a meal I attempted to eat last night is any indication, I won't be venturing to Capparelli's, either. A total food abomination and prices are exorbitant.

Very disappointing today. The servers would rather argue with a customer than follow the menu. I order the lunch rigatoni with meatball. Under the lunch items, the menu says salad or chips and tea come with it. When I asked for chips, the server told me chips were $1.50 more even though the menu doesn't say that chips are an extra charge. The server brought someone else to explain chips are an extra charge and this woman brought the portable machine to charge your cars to prove it. Fine. I didn't want to argue but it's important to be specific on the menu that chips are only for the luncheon sandwiches. They may be right; however, arguing with this customer assures this establishment that I'll NEVER go there againIf I were the owner, I'd reprimand the staff immediately and terminate if they didn't change immediately.

The place was empty and still took forever to make one pizza.. The cheese inside the mozzarella sticks was hard. and the pizza was just insanely topped with greasy cheese. No pizza should have this much cheese on it. Couldn’t eat much because my stomach started hurting. . Server was nice though. This place needs better cooks!

I realize that most of the time people feel compelled to leave a review when they have a negative experience. Too often all the good experiences go unnoticed. Trying to write more reviews on all the places I love and this is one of them. Have been here many, many times. The food is delicious. Staff is great. Their house dressing is amazing, garlic bread they serve as an appetizer is addictive, and every dish we have tried (meatballs in a boat, chicken Alfredo, pizza, eggplant Parmesan) has been excellent. Small, cozy restaurant. Highly recommend.
