First time going to Gloria's Latin Cuisine and it was absolutely delicious! Once seated my husband and I were given corn tortilla chips and two dipping options - red salsa and warm purée refried beans. Ordered the yucca Salvadoreña for an appetizer which was very flavorful. If you are a fan of yucca and garlic you will love! I ordered the Salmon Costeño and hubby ordered the steak. Plantains, arroz, black beans and vegetables were all wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. We ended our night with churros and ice cream for desert. The only suggestion I would recommend would be for the music to match the menu - give me salsa, merengue y bachata. Although I now know this restaurant turns into a salsa club on Saturday's! Have to check that out! If you are looking to give your taste buds a Salvadoreño treat definitely check this spot out! They also have Tex-Mex options if that's what you prefer.

Decadent and very well kept(including the facilities). All of the appetizers and main dishes were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for a date night as the service was prompt and professional and the ambiance was elegant. The food presentation is creative and enticing. I would recommend ordering a few items to truly experience the Salvadoran flavors that make this place special.

Service is 2 stars. Not busy but some how the hostess manage to sit our waiter back to back so that’s going to cause her service be bad and slow.Train your hostess better or have a better rotation in servers because that was awful to see.Food was great, 4/5 stars. Beautifully decorated. Some workers there need work with their social skills others are great!

Talk about class in San Antonio. I went to this place on Saturday and the Merengue was on point. I got a few drinks and managed to get a few dances in. With the aesthetics and all, this place is definitely one to visit. Just make sure you dress in something appropriate as you'll feel out of place with a Tshirt. I recommend a button up and jeans, but definitely feel comfortable as you dominate the dance floor. I came at 11pm which is when this restaurant transforms into a club, but I need to come a bit earlier to fully experience this location. Definitely somewhere you wanna take someone special for perhaps a third date.

Great atmosphere and a black bean dip that tastes amazing. I could get full just on the chips and salsa and black bean dip alone. The Pollo con Champiñones was also deliciously made. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because of the price... $15+ for a taco plate, really? That being said, it's definitely a place I have (and will continue to) go back to.

My first visit to Gloria’s was several years ago when my team had a Christmas gathering at Bowl and Barrel across the street and we went to have happy hour drinks after. We’ve been back quite a few times now and the food and drinks are consistently delicious. With the pandemic, we enjoy the covered outdoor seating but it does get quite busy sometimes. Today, we beat the brunch crowd and the misters were going full blast, which was awesome. I had the Pomegranate Mimosa while my husband had the Moscow Mule. My husband and uncle loved the complimentary black bean dip that came with the chips and salsa. I had the Ceviche Chimichurri Salad, which had both roughy fish and shrimp. Very tasty with the dressing! My husband and uncle shared the Grilled Quail and the Tropical salad with shrimp. The shrimp were seriously colossal! I tried it and loved the curry flavor. They also tried the Tamale which they found very flavorful. Some parts were a bit dry though.Overall, we usually have a great experience but today, service was a bit slow. Perhaps, they were short staffed. Definitely still recommend the food and drinks!

I've been missing El Salvadoran food and Gloria's did not disappoint, here I am the day after visiting and can't seem to get the food off my mind. Went for brunch yesterday and had the huevos con platano, eggs were cooked perfectly and the platains were too but the black beans were truly the star. We had the black bean dip with our chips and salsa and cleared 2 bowls and my daughter had a quesadilla with just the beans. I cannot wait to return to have the yuca frita!

I had drinks here and the bartender was awesome, but the manager was not it. They have a men's bathroom and a women's but they also have a together bathroom. He walked in and kicked me out. I'm pregnant and needed my fiancé's help. He didn't care and told me to handle myself
