Came here on a whim.... best decision EVER! The food was amazing, and the service was top notch! The experience took it to another level! We sat at the bar for brunch this morning. The ladies behind the bar were so fun, and chatted with us while making drinks non-stop. You don’t get that type of fun atmosphere most of the time sitting at such a busy bar, but at Southerleigh, you do! Every person working there is friendly and fun! I think we’re going to become regulars!

This is now my absolute favorite restaurant in TX. Friendliest and professional staff I met in the 2 weeks I spent in San Antonio. The food was pricey but, extremely worth it. I'm from NE so my steak needs are high and I finally got the best steak in TX here. Lastly, Larry our server recommended an awesome beer Vlad, I highly recommend it. I will eat here again when I return to San Antonio.

This place was phenomenal! I’m super picky when it comes to seafood but the oysters and shrimp were so fresh!Atmosphere was great, super nice staff and the drinks were tasty.Highly recommend making a reservation beforehand to avoid the wait.

Visiting San Antonio from California and Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery was highly recommended, so we brought are family for a Friday night dinner. This place is beautifully located in the Pearl district with a nice outdoor dining space and plenty of space for kids to play. Love the historical look and cool ambiance...a perfect place to dine while practicing social distancing (covid-19) or as we say in LA "El Fresco dining." Our waitress was awesome...good food...good drinks...and really one of the best fine dining yet casual place in San Antonio! A definite must try!!!

I enjoyed the night out. Great beer and great wine punch. Beautiful location, I took some friends for the first time from Houston and they loved the atmosphere and environment. We ordered some flights and amazing appetizers, snapper necks, oysters and fried oysters, none disappointed. When they entrees came it did leave a lot to be desired. Schnitzel was a little bland, chicken sandwich was bland and the Mac tasted like nothing special, like a packet, I upgraded to add lump crab meat on top and there was no lump crab meat, just cheap blue claw meat, not even close to being worth $6. This is a perfect spot to get a drink and an app at the bar or at a table. I would give it 3.5 starts if I could. Beautiful place, stunning.

I visited this establishment for the first time while visiting San Antonio for a impromptu birthday lunch with family on a hot Texas summer day but glad we did! Though the food was amazingly delicious, Scott and Cliff both really went over and beyond to give us amazing service. Scott made sure to keep us cool with ice water, wet towels and friendly conversation during his many updates on trying to get us a table as fast as possible as we waited patiently outside. Cliff's service was warm, friendly, professional and best of all genuine. He serve us with great pleasure and gratitude and we are forever grateful for all the smiles and happiness we all exchanged. Cliff you have know idea how you bless our hearts and made our day. Wishing you nothing but love, joy and happiness for of your days.Thank you both Cliff and Scott for giving us the most memorable and enjoyable experience at Southerleigh!

I’m very disappointed to have to give a three star review because I KNOW Southerleigh has to be better. I’m sure this was just one off-experience, especially during this pandemic. We are all about supporting local and the food industry having been cooks previously, ourselves. Never having eaten at Southerleigh, we decided to take a break in the day and get some and share Macaroni with lump crab meat and cornbread to go. I was excited to take photos of my take out and Instagram it. Sadly, the ‘lump crab meat’ looked like ‘picked crab meat,’ (you know, when your Chef tells you to get your tweezers and pick through the crab claws for any shells). Lump crab meat is supposed to be what I expected, coming in lumps. But everything was shredded like those days I picked through crab claws with my kitchen tweezers. The macaroni was hearty, the amount wasn’t to the top as expected, and there was a watery bottom at the bottom of the to go container. The cornbread was dry but good and I did get full nonetheless; he had to finish it. I’m definitely going to go back but will prefer dine in over take out. But presentation is everything, even in To-Go situations and I feel if you want a nice Instagram photo or whole lumps of crab, you’re going to have to dine in. I was banking on the idea that, ‘THIS was going to be the place to get quick macaroni with lump crab!’ But unless this dine in side is presented differently, it sadly won’t be. Can’t wait for dine in services to happen so I can give Southerleigh another go. The first photo is when first opening the To-Go container.
