Went there today and was so disappointed. I’m the GM of a restaurant on the riverwalk so I know service. There were 9 employees standing around joking with each other. No one acknowledged customers, refills and most of all food that had been sitting on the bar for over half an hour. When asked for something we received it by the time we were ready to go. I had to continually remind my server of things we ordered and hadn’t received. We got our soups after our main entree and I had to remind him of my drink order. When we received the bill the prices didn’t match the menu. I’m never one to post about bad experiences but to watch my food just sit there forever while the staff is tickling each other was so annoying. Food tasted good service and management sucked! Won’t be going there again
Music was trash. Food was good. I almost left. When I pay 3X what I can get anywhere else for sushi I expect to be comfortable. Music was crashing in my ears.
The Strawberry Roll is the single tastiest sushi roll I've ever had. The contrast of spicy with tart works so well.
We got the California, strawberry, and cosimo rolls along with the vegetable noodles. The noodles were the best! Next time I'll get them with meat and a couple rolls. The strawberry roll was great flavor, awesome combo of sweet and spice. The Cosimo roll was full of different flavors that perfectly complemented each other. The service was awesome. Our waitress was a gal that insisted we get ice cream as we were there celebrating our anniversary. The red bean was Soo good! There's lots to choose from and you won't be disappointed!
Loved this place. Must visit for excellent food, drink and service!!1. Food was excellent!!2. Drinks were perfect!!3. Service was awesome!!
Honestly an absolutely awesome sushi place, I'd say reasonably priced for what we got. Paid about $14 per sushi roll and the waitress was incredibly attentive, never had to worry about my drink emptying too fast. Though the wait for the sushi was a tad more than I was expecting , but honestly I would say it wasn't more than what should be expected.
Great sushi, quick service, and good price. Close to the river walk up on street level. One of the best sushi places in town, fish tasted fresh and on point. Place was busy and can see why. Check out sushi Zushi if near to river walk there is no other.
This was the first restaurant I went to visiting San Antonio and was pleasantly surprised with the food since Sushi is my go to when eating out. The yellowtail was on point as well as the spicy scallop roll. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in town and want Sushi
Kind of hidden but definitely worth the find !!! Went in for some drinks and some sushi and it did not disappoint! Will be back for happy hour!
I’ve been coming here for years! Sushi Zushi is my favorite sushi spot in all of San Antonio. Try the LIR roll, the Boston, the Christina and the Godzilla. Oh, and don’t pass up the Tuna Tower. If you like wasabi, ask for creamy wasabi as it’s freaking incredible. I highly recommend this spot!
Love this place. I always come here to eat when I'm in town. The food is always great, the service is even better. Tonight Reece took really good care of us and we can't wait to come back!!!!
This place is amazing. I came here with my dad and the food was sooo good. I loved the food but the service was even better. There was no wait time and they kept on checking on us. Our waitress was Reece and he was a legend. Thank you Reece
The food is super tasty. The Cosimo roll is the best option. The strawberry is also really good. The only detail is if you are hungry the wait for tempura rolls is about 50 mins. At least the food worst the wait.
Blackberry Smash was just the right amount of ingredients. We ordered the Sushi sampler with spicy tuna roll, Razor sashimi sampler, Sushi bento with Miso soup. It was all fresh and delicious. The wait staff were friendly and attentive.
Traveling for work and decided to try this place out for dinner and I'm so glad I did! Their sushi was phenomenal and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely be stopping by again when I'm back in the area.
