Thank god they closed. Towards the end they really started serving microwaved food. Can't wait to see what will replace them!

-French Onion Soup 3/10 not the right flavor. Was not pleased with it. -Mac and Cheese 8/10 very cheesy!! It doesn't just taste like a baked wet noodle. -Beer Battered Mushrooms 10/10 can't go wrong with fried anything. Mushrooms in the dipping sauces was great. -Crème brûlée cheesecake 10/10 crème brûlée flavor and cheesecake texture. Caramelizad sugar on the outsides made it amazing. Went back to get another slice a few days later! -My bf got a sampler platter with fish fry and bangers and mash. He really enjoyed the tartar sauce. They made it homemade and is not your typical tartar sauce.

Great oasis in a dry land! This is code for a great place to hide from the dedicated shopper who dragged you shopping with them. Seriously, this is a fun place to relax and have a cold drink. I could spend a lot of time in this place. I am sure I will the next time I'm in the area. Cheers!

Steak was really good and the burger my girl friend got was the juiciest burger I've ever had. It amazes me this place only has 3 stars. We ordered another order of queso for the fries because the cheese was so good. I'd definitely recommend this place for a try out.

I love coming to Lion & the rose! I literally sometimes come just to have dinner. I'm really disappointed tho because I came again for dinner tonight and the french fries changed and I'm not liking the new ones. Please keep the chicken diablo bites and the fried mushrooms!!! They are beyond my favorite and what I come to dinner for. I would also love it if they added the fried mushrooms to the late night menu please!!! Please bring back the other fries and we will be golden. I also love that they added Truly wild berry on tap! WOW!!! & the manager Omar is so awesome and friendly.

My husband and I went here for drinks tonight for the first time. We arrived between 7:30 and 8:00 on a Saturday which can be busy. There was a bartender and a bar-back working plus a few other employees in the bar area. We found a couple seats at the bar and a friendly manager greeted us, and got us waters and menus. A little while later another manager took our drink orders and prepared them. We decided to order an appetizer to share and a waitress took our order. She was friendly and knowledgeable. That was the only time I saw her behind the bar so I don't believe she was a bartender tonight. After a while it seemed like a long time to wait for fries, so we asked the same manager who made our drinks if she could check on them. Shortly afterwards she brought them out, they weren't exactly how we had ordered them but they tasted good. My husband finished his drink and set it toward the inner edge of the bar with his straw wrapper in it. The bar back and bartender passed us many times without acknowledging his empty drink or even making eye contact. Finally when the manager walked through again she made my husband another drink. We decided to get the check because and had to flag down the bar back. He told us our total and ran our card. I asked to see our receipt because the total seemed off. Apparently getting a printed check is difficult because he had to ask the bartender and she had to ask the manager. The total was off because they comped our appetizer since it had never been rung in. During our entire experience, the bartender and bar back never spoke to us, made eye contact, or acknowledged us in any way until we had to request our check. We could see them talking and chatting with other guests though. They served guests to our right and left but just walked past us every time. They didn't seem to be in the weeds or overwhelmed. I appreciated the service from the managers and that they comped the appetizer without us saying anything about it. Next time we go out at the Rim, we'll head to a different bar.

Love the decorations! Our server was excellent! The food was pretty good. The beer was more expensive than I was expecting and the restaurant is VERY COLD!!! I would make sure to bring a sweater or sit outside.

We come here every two weeks however we missed the last two. The food and drinks are always top notch here. I just got to say that tonight by far we received the best service at the bar. We always sit at the bar when we are here. Tonight we had the pleasure of meeting Casper and Tony two new bartenders to us and they took care of us tonight. They are a joy! We let the house manager Omar know of the exceptional service we received from Casper and Tony and hope that they are both working the next time we are here. And to the owner of this restaurant keep up the good work. You have a great menu that never disappoints and for employing great employees like Casper, Tony, Omar and the rest of your staff. This is what keeps us coming back every other weekend for the last year.
The food I ate here with my friend was amazing. I ate the chicken in curry sauce and highly recommended it. It was delicious and had tons of flavor!! Please go here if you are looking for an exceptional dining experience

Service this evening was abhorrent. It was as if they didn't want our business. We took a table in the back room and no wait staff ever arrived. We went to the bar to get drinks where we were ignored by 5+ bartenders for over 10 minutes. The music was way too loud to even converse and no one was dancing, so what's the point? We then moved out to the patio where we were ignored by 3 waitresses in cowboy attire. I wouldn't go back there again if they paid me.

I have never been to this restaurant before and what I really loved was how the two managers addressed customers. Sarah and Omar interacted with customers made sure everything was okay and had a small conversation with you. It is very rare nowadays to see managers do this so I was very impressed. Will most definitely be returning. Great customer service is what makes a restaurant!!
