I ordered salmon and shrimp, which tasted good. It came with spaghetti pasta, which was swimming in oil. I took paper towels and was soaking up the oil. The noodles were still oily. I also had broccoli, which was soggy and oily. Please use less oil in the future.

Great evening at Umberto's celebrating my son's birthday! After a rough start to the evening with a big let down by another Italian restaurant up the road, we ended up at Umberto's for the first time. Lovely staff and awesome food! Great service from Leo!!

Really classy when you hear the table busser calling you a cabrón because you asked for help on the ticket. The wife’s dish was absolutely terrible so she asked for something different, it tasted like Prego Alfredo sauce on lukewarm fried chicken. Instead of being accommodating the waitress got pissy questioning us on why we didn’t like the food and made a fuss about it. We finally got the new dish which was better and cheaper than what we originally ordered. We still ended up getting charged the higher price and getting called Cabrón by a bussed for asking for help. Thanks for the wonderful birthday experience for my wife, will gladly never return to this dump.

Great little restaurant!!!It’s quite difficult to find a delicious Italian restaurant here in San Antonio. Their food was phenomenal. We had excellent service. And pricing was very reasonable and especially for the portion of our plate. Over all great experience! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.
Love the food. And service was amazing. My 2 year old loved the beef ravioliI loved pasta with seafood although they were out of mussels but they sub with clams. My fiancé had chicken f something with artichoke hearts, asparagus and mushrooms in lemon wine sauce .Busser was amazing as well.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and they bring food sooner for the little ones

Love visiting Umbertos whenever I'm in San Antonio. Delicious dishes--love the salads, appetizers, and entrees. Caprese salad is delicious, rolls are so so good! We usually get the eggplant parmesan appetizer with salad or soup. The appetizer is cooks perfectly in that dish--so, so good.Staff are always friendly and attentive. Clean and comfortable atmosphere--love the coat hangers next to each table.

Came to celebrate my dad's heavenly birthday. The service is great! And the food is Soo good and fresh. This is the best kept secret Italian restaurant in my opinion. We got there when they opened at 12 and there were two big parties ready to be sat, besides our party. Very accommodating for us as the other parties had reservations. . Never a bad experience here!! And always leaving with leftovers

My chicken was over cooked and hard to chew, the sauce was good. If cooked properly I'm sure the chicken would've been amazing. Our waiter was super friendly. You're meal is 20 bucks and your marinara sauce is 4.00. I asked for plane pasta for my 1 year old and they put lemon butter and charged me 4.00 for the butter. Even though I didn't ask for it. I honestly thought that was strange. But he was nice so I didn't want to complain he's just a waiter. But for future, plane means no sauce stir. If they can get it together they can be a 5 star restaurant.
