We went to this nice place on our way to Fredericksburg and ordered a coffee to go. The nice lady at the counter offered us as foreigners free coffees and thanked us for visiting their nice town. This was such a heartwarming gesture which we never experienced before. It's so nice to see people with such overwhelming hospitality and heart. We also liked the atmosphere of the store a lot. On a recent business trip, I was hungry for a sandwich and thank goodness my google search brought up this gem. Had the chefs special of the day, the Muffaletta sandwich and fries. It was really flavorful and large enough to save for another meal. I got lucky enough to have to go back to San saba the next day and got cake balls and the strawberry spinach salad. Great little small town bakery in a nice new location downtown. Stopped on our drive for an afternoon snack to stretch our legs. Didn't get a chance to try any lunch items, but got our sweet tooth taken care of with yummy cake balls in nice individual containers and a blackberry fried pie that was yummy.
