This often overlooked gem is nestled inside the Marriott Hotel in Town Center. It boast a quiet and intimate ambiance. The food is excellent and the service is even better. The bar is huge and has every top shelf spirit you can think of.

The Burning Pear is the restaurant inside the Marriott Hotel in Sugarland City Walk. My sons school used the hotel as a testing site for STAAR. Quiet atmosphere and food was ok. They offer a breakfast buffet or you can order off the menu but they don’t offer lunch. Only breakfast and dinner.Staff is nice and helpful!

Nice to have a proper breakfast buffet. Service was excellent! Thank you Hugo and staff. The food was better than what you’d normally expect from a hotel buffet. Loved the grits and great waffles!

Decided to take our family for breakfast at the Burning Pear and Rana was making omelets. It was the best omelet I have ever eaten! She was the sweetest lady and since we were there with our small children even brought it to our table! Delicious food, and exceptional service! A must experience breakfast destination!

The breakfast buffet is Not worth the 22$ I was charged. You get the exact same food as you would at any other hotel's Free continental breakfast. I would never have eaten here if I had been informed it wasn't included with the room.

We hosted my Grandmother's 100th Birthday Luncheon celebration at this restaurant. Staff was wonderful and helpful. They printed special menus just for us; we used them as souvenirs of the event. Memorable!

Great breakfast. Servers are aweaome.

A FULL hot breakfast! Everything you eat for breakfast plus eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage or an omelet to order. Comfortable seating and our hostess (both mornings we visited), Luc, was just lovely and really took care of us. Breakfast hours seem a little later than other hotels: 11 am on Sunday and 10 am on Monday. Definitely add this to your morning and you won’t need to stop for lunch.

The Burning Pear ? is not burning anymoreIt's just a ghost townIt's such a nice spot located inside a Marriott that seems to be owned through the owner franchise set up and not a corporate-owned MarriottI said that to say the owner is being frugal with running this hotelI've had some great meals here but man that was like a couple of years agoI know when people stay here they complain and can't understand why it's so dead in this hotelThank God you have other restaurants very close to make up for it

They say they’re open 24 hours. That’s cap. Update your hours!

Avoid the buffet. The food is very tasteless. I'm sure ordering off the menu is delicious, just avoid the buffet
