I called an early June to set up accommodations for a late June birthday party. I spoke with a guy named Chad who told me to call him the day before the occasion. I called and called and called when the time came. No one answered my party and I showed up the day of and the restaurant was closed. I mean closed for business. Never to be seen again. Don't waste your time folks. This place has gone out of business or relocated

This place was so good! I got their fresh crawfish since it’s in season and it was delicious. Their beignets were a great dessert. Austin was incredibly attentive and accommodating. He was a great server & bartender.

The only reason I'm giving them a 3 is that they did not properly prepare for Fat Tuesday. The staff was great ...atmosphere was great .....they just had a very rocky start

We went there Saturday, March 4th for the all-you-can-eat crawfish. This was the 1st Saturday after the merger with The Cajun Market! I say let them get into their groove as the food was pretty awesome! All-you-can-eat is only on Saturdays from 12-4 so if you went there after, they may have run out of some of the expected menu items, again, they are getting into their groove. My wife is a crawfish addict and she said the crawfish were legit! She grew up in the bayou and was raised on these little mudbugs. The Abita Mardi Gras beer was awesome and had a very good flavor throughout. I tried the Cajun burger, which was really good and we tried the "Boudin Egg rolls", a new menu item which was FANTASTIC!! Even though it's a New Orleans-style bar, it still has a local bar feel. The staff was awesome!! We dealt with Brooke and Jennifer and we had such a great time for the FOUR hours we were there! LOL A little slice of NO in The Colony, It's not a Bourdon Street Daiquiri bar, so set your expectations! The drinks they have and make are very good; we had the privilege to taste a few and there are no complaints. This will be a regular Saturday hangout for us! If you see me there, come and say hello!

Similar to the other review, the etouffee had an unusually high level of salt. It appears from our discussion that the food arrives frozen and/or prepared. The po boy with fried catfish was better. Wait staff was very good.

I think the 3.9 stars I saw for this restaurant was extremely generous. I generally rate a restaurant on how many times I'm willing to visit it. The only good thing here was that the waiter/bartender, (yes, he was working both jobs at once) was extremely friendly and got our order right. But you go to a restaurant for the food, right? I can say the garlic bread was extremely good. Not so much the rest... The bowl of chicken gumbo was a soup, not gumbo... thin broth with seven cubes of chicken in it that tasted like a dog smells. The cup of seafood gumbo had a tasty broth occupied by two shrimps and nothing else. The Cajun chicken pasta was not Cajun...very bland. I never noticed the ambiance as I was too busy staring at the dog sitting at the bar, literally sitting on a bar stool. Was really hoping to like this place as it is so close to home... But it will be closed up before we step back in this restaurant space.

Tried this place out for the first time. Must say the food was a disappointment. Ordered the alligator bites they were not cooked all the way through. Ordered the chicken breast sandwich was very Bland. Also had the seafood gumbo which was not thick at all very watery it did taste good. Ordered a top shelf margarita and that tasted very nice. I'd like to say this place has a lot of potential lots of TVs and a great location. Probably a good drinking place.

Unfortunately this place is not the same. The chef and the cooking staff are completely gone and the new modified menu is subpar. No more dirty rice, beignets, boudin balls, etc. nothing about it says Bourbon Street. . It's very unfortunate.

Crawfish queso appetizer was very salty. Gumbo and ettoufee had uncooked rice and dish was very watery. Bad cook. Avoid this place for dine in.

I ordered the chargrilled oysters at this place on 6/17/22 and they were the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life!!! I waited over 30 minutes for the food to come out and when it did, they were extremely small, had no flavor, and were topped with globs of melted cheese! Being a person from Louisiana that loves chargrilled oysters, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! Ended up driving to Addison to eat ate Nate’s, the place I should’ve gone to initially. I wish I would have read the reviews before going to this place, but never ever again!
