Outstanding meals at this quaint location. We enjoyed a couple of poke books and ramen today. Awesome food at a reasonable price. When the quality of food is exceptional, the value increases, and this location is on point.Even when you have picky youthful dinner guests. there are a number of options. Can't wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: Their ramen options give you some latitude with those picky eaters who may not sure your love of spice.

Originally we thought there was only a small amount of fish and were annoyed, but as we kept eating it turns out there's a good amount in there. In general, the large togo bowl made it seem like the portion was smaller than it actually is, which is kind of unfortunate. The bowl itself tasted good, with generous toppings and a good amount of fish as previously notedOur only complaint was the brown rice being pretty clumpy which made mixing the bowl up a bit annoying. No comment on the atmosphere because i was just here to place a togo order and skedaddleIn the end, would recommend. Will definitely come here more cause it's <5 minutes from my house mwahahaha

I ordered the tropical tower and it was delicious! I ate every bite. It came with little piles of fish eggs and that was a new experience for me, but they were really good when you mixed them into the dish.

This was our first time trying this shop and we WILL be back! I got the Salmon bowl and hubs got the chicken bowl. The bowls were prepared fresh and the flavors were delicious on both bowls. My bowl was a little heavy in the spring mix, but the pear, avocado, edemame and salmon were perfection with the sushi rice. Highly recommend ??

Went here for the first time today and the experience was a bit underwhelming to be honest. The man was a bit gruff and not exactly what I would describe as welcoming. Very neutral attitude.I ordered a pork gyoza and tonkotsu ramen which was prepared in a timely manner. There was no server, and it appeared that the chef was the only one working, so the food was put on the counter for me to bring to my seat. The pork gyoza was excellent, but the ramen left quite a bit to be desired. The egg was clearly pre-prepared and reheated as the yolk was still a bit cold. The broth was not very rich in flavor and had a slight sour taste to it. The protein was very good, though, and the noodles were properly cooked, slightly firm, as they should be. Overall, I will likely be choosing a different place for my ramen needs.

This was really fresh and delicious poke. I was skeptical since it's in a strip mall but it's the best poke I've ever had! They served it with miso and that was also delicious. Can't wait to try the ramen!

Let me preface this by saying that my son probably frequents this place more than anyone I know . However , my first experience was horrible . I came in with my 12 year old cousin who just came from another country and the male owner seemed so agitated to take our order . He also seemed so annoyed by my cousins lack of English. I will not be coming back here and will also take my son elsewhere . This kind of service does not deserve any respect .

I love the food and I eat here almost every day. The best Poke Bowl in Carrollton. Best sauce and best fish by far.Guy reminds me a little of the soup guy from Seinfeld. But he is a great chef and makes excellent food.

The poke bowls are good. If you are looking for service with a smile...look elsewhere. I would go back for the food but I'm going to stay away indefinitely because of the service.

We ordered the Ahi tower and trio bowl with sushi rice. Both were AMAZING and worth trying if you love tuna!

It was my first time coming but the servicewas a really unpleasant experience. The older gentleman seemed very agitated for some reason and seemed to take it out on me? Only when I started getting irritated that the attitude changed. The interior design is clean and really nice, food tasty but a bit small portion wise for the price. Maybe just order online to avoid bad interactions? Came because it's right near my workplace.

I appreciate the poke bowl, but the customer service is extremely poor. The guy at the counter is arrogant and extremely rude. Like I thought it was just me or the guy was having a bad day until reading the other reviews. They could easily have a higher rating but the service is what is pulling their business down.

I don’t post a ton of reviews but it really makes me sad to see some bad reviews for this place. I agree it’s abit pricey (I got rice balls + 2 protein bowl, came out to be $22 ish) but ALL poke places are pricey! Anything related to fish is pricey! My bowl has always had a good amount to it and although sometimes the rice balls seemed to have been made in a hurry but it’s always good and always fresh. It’s worth a visit and I’d be heartbroken if they go out of business since it’s my favorite poke place and the only one that’s near the colony!
