It may seem like a simple thing but chips and salsa come in all shapes and sizes. To get the balance between warm and tasty chips to the flavor flavor of salsa is not as easy as you may think. This place nailed it! Not too thin and not too thick on the chips and the salsa as well. Spicy and flavorful but not burn your tongue hot. Well done and the table-side guacamole is plenty enough to share with 4 people! Entrées were well balanced and amazing as well. Try this place and you will be happy you did!

Amazing authentic food. Great service and patio view. Had the Anaya's salad which was great. Loved the Smokey salsa.

Long wait times, under staffed and the servers that were here where working their tails off. I don't understand because the place was only half full?

We went there since we were going to a concert close by. Find out after the fact that the restaurant was unaware of the rescheduled concert on a Wednesday night. Which would explain the long wait for our food even though we had a reservation. We ended up moving to the bar and service was better there. Thank goodness for the bartender (canât remember her name) she made sure we were taken care of and apologized for the long wait for food etc.

Service was so slow. They were obviously understaffed due to the concert being rescheduled but we knew for almost a month when the new date was. Certainly the restaurant would have known too. My jumbo margarita had no tequila in it. Not sure if itâs due to the happy hour price but I would bet money they didnât put any tequila in it.

Consistently delicious food and creative drinks. This restaurant is a must go-to when visiting The Woodlands.

Ultimate Margarita is DELICIOUS! And their chips and salsa are to die for. Will definitely be coming back!

Very accommodating to our party of 6 celebrating a 21st birthday. Service was wonderful. Our server Zack was so friendly and attentive. Food was very good, plenty of it. Definitely recommend Cyclone Anaya's - Woodlands.

Nice atmosphere, and we were seated pretty quick considering there were 9 of us. Ok, it's a Mexican restaurant, so you have to rate the chips and salsa. Chips came out warm and crispy. Salsa was served in a big bowl, slight heat and smoky flavor. Nice and thick. Next up Juanitos combo. A decent combo with a fajita beef burrito, cheese enchilada and the old dependable beans and rice. Overall, the food was good. I've had much better beef fajita meat, but this was good. I'm not usually a rice fan, but I actually ate most of it. Overall a decent meal, not too expensive, and food service. Worth a visit.
So disappointed!! Tasteless guacamole. Smokey mild salsa. Couldn't even finish half the margarita as it is was that bad - at least they took it off my bill without me even asking them to. And to boot it was warm in the restaurant. The chips were fresh though and not too salty which was the only positive.

Went here Friday night for Happy Hours. They have great Happy Hour prices! Ordered a Margarita which was good. Ordered their Steak Fajita Nacho's, which were good, however the meat portions were very small. Staff is super friendly, great service, love the patio area.

Everything about our experience was simply perfect. The value for the food was excellent and the food itself was delicious (Tex med cheese and cyclone Anaya enchiladas). We enjoyed trying the Tex-Mex cuisine as well as authentic Mexican. Outdoor seating provided nice views of the fountains nearby.

10/10 highly recommended if you like Mexican food. I ordered there 2 lunch plates everything was wonderful especially the vegetarian spinach enchilada. Staff very nice, even the manager came to the table to ask if everything is alright. In short service: 12/10.Vegetarian options: The best vegetarian enchilada I have ever eaten!
