Words simply cannot describe how terrible the food was. Literally worse than Outback Steakhouse….it’s like APPLEBEE’S quality!!!! Insane!!!! If you are an inner looper thinking about taking a little trip to see what all the fuss is about, just don’t. Forget what Joe Rogan said, the best steaks in driving distance are still 1) Doris Metropolitan, 2) Andiron, and 3) Georgia James (in that order). I just don’t know if I’m more disappointed in this place or if I’m more disappointed in Joe Rogan ?Just.Don’t.

There are many upscale dining choices and steakhouses in The Woodlands. Tris separates itself by elevating the experience in most aspects. Tris makes special occasions like anniversaries feel special. Other restaurants in The Woodlands have decided to put corporate customers and moneyed interests over local couples who may only go once a year.

Poor quality meat. We got three steaks for the four of us. Dinner with tip was over $600. The steaks had no flavor at all and seemed very lean. The waiter actually offered us dipping sauce for the steaks. We've never been to a prime steakhouse and offered sauce for the steaks before, as the steaks themselves are usually naturally very flavorable from the marbling, but this steakhouse seems to have only poor cuts of meat. We will not eat here again.

Great establishment, highly recommend. My food was packed up to go and my ribeye was forgotten. It's an honest mistake that probably doesn't happen much, but due to the price it's hard to ignore. We were celebrating our Anniversary.

It was the perfect anniversary spot. Thomas our waiter was the best I've ever had. He gave us an amazing and knowledge fueled experience. Chef Austin has created a gem and a future customer for life.
Great food and great staff. Haven't been in a while but since the reconfiguration l, it is way, way, louder. Almost too loud to even talk across the table. Otherwise, it was excellent.
No words to truly describe. Great people, great service, amazing food and phenomenal chef! Thanks for making every visit that much more enjoyable.

We had been there several times, but this will be my last. Husband ordered the Salmon which he said was good, I ordered swordfish with roasted vegetables, which our waiter said was his favorite and totally amazing. First I noticed my fork was not penetrating the fish then cut into with a knife and noticed it was totally raw! Pink & raw, was disgusting to say the least. Jose said it comes this way (medium rare), he must have confused it with a steak or piece of beef. They did switch it out for the scallops. Won't go back

Overall, this was a fantastic restaurant for business meals. The menu was simple, with great choices for drinks. Just be prepared for the cost. The pricing is amongst the highest, which is subjective to this venue's location and style.

Top notch food. Service was excellent. Room was nice without being stuff / pretentious. I have been in Houston for eight years and I think the steak here is better than b&b or del Frisco's. Appetizers are high end gourmet quality.
