First time dining at the Republic Grill for dinner. We had a very enjoyable evening. The appetizers and entrees were done really well. Our server Thomas took the time to walk up through the fan favorites and gave us excellent service! Will be back soon.

My first time in here and I throughly enjoyed the hospitality of Josh and his knowledge of the menu. I had their goat cheese salmon with sweet potato (must have) & asparagus. The dish was very savory. I will definitely be back to try their pork chops. They even have live music on Wednesday & Sunday evenings starting at 5:30.

I went to have lunch with my parents. We had to wait for a seat, but it was less than 15 minutes. I had the portobello sandwhich on texas toast with a side of green beans. Both were the best of each I remember having. The texas toast was lightly but well toasted enough to have some crunch, and the mushroom was thick and delicious. It was by far the highlight of the visit, and honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had, period. Eveything about it was just perfect. The service was great, especially with my mom having some special needs, but our waitress was attentive and made frequent laps around our area. It's a bit expensive, but the food is great. Honestly I'm kicking myself for not trying it out sooner.

Superb service! The drinks and food were amazing. My wife still talks about the chicken fried steak she ate and we mention the salted caramel pistachio cheese cake to anyone who will listen. This was the first time I had something "salted Caramel" and actually tasted and enjoyed the salted part. Damn now I want the cheesecake again!

Shocked, came with service dog and after having late lunch handed bill and informed that a registered service dog must lie underneath table. Resident of The Woodlands since 1991. Will never visit this establishment again and have informed ADA and posting on social media. Never been so embarrassed. Also tried calling to speak with management no answer after 4 calls.

Been dining here for years. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Service and food is extremely consistent. My wife and I usually sit at the bar where Courtney K and Carlos have been the most attentive and accommodating bartenders.

I saw the reviews by other helpers knew that I wanted to try this place. As we walked in, I felt a warm and welcoming vibe. The modern design and decorations were tasteful and felt very comfortable. The service was good and courteous... I would have liked to see the servers be more attentive and friendlier. It wasn't bad by any means, but this alone would have pushed my rating to a 4 stars. Food was tasty. My only complaint is that the chicken fried Wagyu steak wasn't really tender. The quality of steak (especially in the state of Texas) was tough and chewy. This was disappointing. The peach cobbler was especially good. Crust was crispy and the filing was not too sweet. From a guy who really doesn't enjoy desserts, this is high praise. I would probably come back if I'm in the area again.

First time visit and man was I satisfied! Everything was great....starting with the service! We arrived around 1:30 pm and was immediately professionally greeted by the host who seated us in less than two minutes. It was after a lunch rush but this place was so well staffed that if you needed anything, you would be immediately attended.I was so pleased to be greeted by a friendly staff. The waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and offered a suggestion. However, I was there for fish. I was not disappointed either. The portions were generous but above all very appetizing.I was served blackened flounder with shrimp toppings and it was seasoned to perfection. The side dishes were the bacon Mac n' cheese and sweet potatoes. I cannot express enough about how the flavors of each dish satisfied my taste buds!!! Those sweet potatoes (yams??) had a glaze that wafted it's rich buttery rum flavor long before I took a bite and when I did, it brought euphoria!!?? If it was served as a sweet potato pie, it would be a welcomed holiday dessert. I have never tasted sweet potatoes as appetizing as this! Seriously. The location is clean and being that it's in the Woodlands, well hidden. At least I thought so but the layout of the Woodlands community is different than Houston, anyway, but once you find it, you will be happy that you did. This is a great place for entertaining out of town guests or for locals to relax and be appreciated as customers. You just don't get that kind of service from restaurants anymore. You guys keep doing what you're doing at Republic.?????? It's about 20 miles from my home but the welcoming atmosphere and superb food meal summons another visit!Excellent...simply excellent.Parking: We arrived just after the lunch rush and was able to park right in front. However, you can tell on a busy day, you might have problems finding a spot up close.
