Been going to Cajun Street at least once a week from the first day they opened. Love the shrimp.......fried or grilled. Taco Tuesday is the best deal in Tomball, and I never miss going. Everybody works hard to make your eating experience worth your time and money.

We had the best experience the young man that took our order was very friendly and helpful with the menu as it was our first time here. The food was absolutely amazing and TRUE CAJUN FOOD! Our family is from Louisiana and it’s hard to make us truly satisfied with our food! Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to come back with more of our family!

Ate here for first 1st time today. Ordered a shrimp poboy, but what I got was a lettuce poboy. The shrimp were very good. That’s why I’m giving two stars. But there were only 5 of them. Exactly five. There was a ton of lettuce, but I only got to taste the shrimp very 3rd or 4th bite. That’s why I call it a lettuce poboy. Eating a shrimp poboy that really only a lot of bread and lettuce is quite disappointing.

The food is great. Today I tried the Brisket and Sausage . So tender and that Barbecue Sauce was great. It was so good didn’t need no sauce. The staff is great. Had a chance to meet the owner and one of his daughters. You will not be disappointed .
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Large portions, tasty sauces and dressings, lots of options, decent prices! I’ve tried shrimp and fish tacos, fish basket and wings… all very good!!!
Great food, can't believe the place isn't packed. Food came out very quick too.

Super impressed. Stopped by for a lunch bite of fried fish and mango habenero wings. Fish was thick and perfectly deep fried on both fish and wings. The batter is seas9ned which it makes it tasty. Coming back to try more food. This is a 180 in quality in comparison to the previous owner. The folks there are super friendly.

This is what I received for $15 . No ma’am, no ham, no turkey. Y’all could have done better than this with that swai fish. This is ridiculous.
The red bean and rice are not good, they are from a can with nasty sausage in it.

I was excited to try Cajun Street in Tomball, TX, based on all the stellar reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. It was a busy lunch hour, which I understand, but the waitress at the register seemed overwhelmed. As someone who has worked in and managed restaurants, I try to be patient in these situations.
I placed my order, tipped in advance, and waited… and waited. After 20-25 minutes, I asked about my order, only to find out it had been sitting ready for a while. By the time I got to my car, my fried fish and shrimp were barely warm. With limited time for lunch, this was frustrating.
Once at my desk, I dug into the food. The shrimp and grits were tasty, and the boudin balls, while delicious, were pretty greasy. However, the fried shrimp wasn’t to my liking, as the cornmeal batter was too heavy, and the fish was just okay – a 6 out of 10. The red beans and rice, unfortunately, were bland, earning a 4 out of 10.
The atmosphere at Cajun Street is nice, with zydeco music and New Orleans-inspired artwork, and it’s definitely a step up from the fast-food Louisiana spots, though I didn’t feel it lived up to the high expectations I had based on the reviews. Maybe I just caught them on an off day.

Love this place. We’ve only bought food to go and none of it is disappointing. Husband loves the fish and I love their BBQ and we both adore their bourbon pecan pie. YUM!
