Really enjoyed this hole-n-the-wall kind of place. The 4s on the food was only because I asked for an over easy egg on my burger and it wasn't. Minor...minor thing. Good flavor, good fries, sp fries, onion rings. Really good burgers. If I get near here again, I will be back!

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough great things about this place. Ambiance was fun and friendly. Service was great and very helpful for our first time there. Best burger I've had out. It was huge! Fries were delicious too.

Very great food! Perfect small town, small business burger joint. Food matches its price with big burgers that taste great. They also have other items like pizzas if you're not in the mood for a burger. If you're in the area I recommend coming here over any corporate fast food joint.

Hamburgers are really good. But the pizza is even better. I was completely floored at how good the pizza is here. Probably the best pizza in Texas. If you can catch this place when they are open it's well worth the wait. Also, if you don't live close by it's well worth the drive.

As any avid motorcycle rider knows, two of the reasons we ride are burgers and pie. On my recent New Year's Eve ride, instead of blowing through Valley View as usual, I did a quick tour of the town square and saw York N Ale Burgers in one corner. It looks like the kind of place that could have good burgers. A quick Yelp check confirmed others have liked it, so I stopped. Casual but nice interior that makes you feel like you're in a small town that's not 100 yards from an interstate highway. Friendly service from a guy who was also manning the bar. As tempting as the pizza and wings on the menu were, I stuck with my burger-focus and ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The time it took for the food to come out was that amount of time that makes you think "this is how long it would have taken me to cook a burger" not the "this place is setup to make burgers really fast and cheap". So just about right. The burger was juicy and tasty. The fries were good as well. Overall, York N Ale has earned a spot on our places to ride and get burgers list. Will definitely be back.

The build your own pizza is amazing. I was skeptical because it’s more of a burger place but the pizza was really good. Will definitely be back.

Came here this past Saturday evening. Cute place, spacey, sodas made with real sugar, and we ordered off of a sheet and two burger bags. The menus were fillable and we ordered exactly what we wanted, two cheeseburgers, fried pickles, two sodas, sweet potato fries and regular fries, and hush puppies. The cheeseburgers were juicy and big and delicious. The only thing I’d change is add a little more salt. The sweet potato fries were the BEST sweet potato fries I ever had! Crunchy, seasoned, fluffy. The fried pickles were also delicious, the batter stayed on the pickles and they were crunchy, not soggy or too oily. Hush puppies were good but a little dense. I prefer fluffier insides, still a 3.5/5. Their ranch was delicious! Maybe even better than Wingstop. The sodas were so good I drank 2 cups of root beer.Im from Dallas but I’d definitely drive back just to eat here on a weekend.
