The food was good. Unfortunately, the service sucked. The servers could not be bothered to make some money from the customer. I knew it was going to be a bad experience when the servers complained, seating the customer. Denny's, you got to do better.

The waitress was excellent…did everything right! Wish I could say the same about the food & the manager. I ordered the Berry Stuffed French Toast Slam & when it finally came it didn’t have the cream cheese filling & had 6 little tiny slivers of strawberry & about a tablespoon of sauce. The manager tried to tell me it was made correctly & when I showed him the menu & politely pointed out that it was supposed to have cream cheese & NOT whipped cream, he first said…that’s the way it comes& when I said “ that is whipped cream , definitely not cream cheese, he then said “oh the menu is wrong”….I hate being lied to….for $15+ you should get what you order & when you WANT cream cheese, whipped cream doesn’t work!!! And if they don’t have the ingredients to make it , they shouldn’t try to pass it off as something it’s not. My husband ordered blueberry pancakes & received plain buttermilk & all bacon on his Lumberjack Slam & got bacon & sausage instead.

Awful just awful. Made an online order at 8:30 got there at 9 had to wait till 9:30 for them to finish my food. Got my food, opened it and they put little plastic trays in it to seperate the food and just ruined the toppings on my pancakes. There were barely any hash browns paid like 3 bucks for a quarter of a potato. Absolutely abysmal. Will be doing online ordering from IHOP from now on. It's just across the street. Also terrible service. Or rather just disrespectful service. You should not ask for a tip if your service was awful.

This Denny's location should be embarrassed for their poor performance and pitiful customer service. I ordered a pancake combo with eggs and hashbrowns. I specifically requested that the bacon be crispy and not flaccid and limp. What I received was what I said I didn't want. My coffee was lukewarm at best, and the hashbrowns were just blah. A male walked into the dining area and began picking up the dishes at the empty tables. He proceeded to talk loud at some other worker towards the back, that it noticeably startled several of the diners, including me. This behavior is not professional at all. But, I guess it's accepted. I was charged $16 for a plate of cold mess, lukewarm coffee, and an earful of useless unwanted conversation amongst the Dennys staff. Eat at your own risk because the food is not served at its best.

Christmas comes around once per year. It can be planned. No excuse to be out of turkey dinner by 430 pm. And to have the waitress flipantly say "it's Christmas baby" as if that explains piss poor planning.

This restaurant is filthy, the kitchen was very dirty, the staff were grabbing food from the freezer with base hands. I feel like drinking bleach after eating at this place.
I ordered to go from Denny's at this address for the first time today and I was very disappointed. First of all, the orange juice was very watered down. Secondly, the Bourbon Chicken Skillet had very little sauce, which made the chicken and potatoes with vegetables very dry. Also, I ordered extra Bourbon sauce, which the staff forgot to put on and I had to go back to the establishment to get it. I do not recommend Denny's at 2409 S New Rd, Waco, TX 76711!

I ordered coffee, water and an omelett. Waitress had two tables. Never got a water. Never saw the Waitress again in 25 minutes. Flagged a waiter down for a cup of coffee...Never got that. Left 3 bucks on the table and left. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I walked to IHOP...1000 times better.

The Bourbon Chicken Skillet was actually really good. I went in thinking I was going to have breakfast, but this kept pulling me back on the menu, so I ordered it and am glad I did! My waitress was efficient & attentive.
When I got my breakfast it was bearly warm , the waitress tried to say it was because I added the picante sauce.That's not true.While waiting on the pickante sauce I had a bite of my omelette and it was barely warm, the waitress took it back to have it redone, she came back to our table said she stuck her finger in my omelet and said it was hot ,that's when I really decided not to have another omelet or anything else
