Best ambiance, amazing drinks and food, could be a smidge quicker with service, left looking for a server one too many times but it does get very busy

Sunday 8/11. Service was excellent. Which I could remember her name. Food is just average. I had to ask for the salt and pepper to give the chicken some taste. The sourdough bread the crust was good the inside tasteless too. Don't waste your money and time with this place.

Food and drinks were amazing. The plates are family style and designed to be shared, although the serving sizes are smaller than I assumed. My table of three ordered six dishes and we were still hungry afterwards.

Husband and wife, dinner for two. Came to Waco to try all the restaurants as we’ve been hearing good things. We ordered: Local lettuce, fried cauliflower pork ribs, hangar steak, cheese cake and tiramisu.
Amazing Ambiance, a real throw back to the 40’s & 50’s. It truly is beautiful.
Great service, the hostess was well put together and friendly. The wait staff were courteous and knowledgeable about the menu.
The food quality was high end and our items were cooked perfectly.
The reason for the three stars;
- the lettuce was beautiful, but it was drenched in dressing. There was so much it was sopping.
- the cauliflower was excellent, but the portion was three tablespoons
- the ribs were cooked perfectly and the portion was perfect, but it had no rub no seasoning, not even salt & pepper that could be tasted
- the hangar steak was excellent all around
- the cheese cake was dry as a bone and had literal espresso grounds en masse.
- the tiramisu was odd. It had a berry filling layer. All of which was ok, but it was clearly made a day or two in advance and kept a little too cold. The center was bitter cold, border line frozen
I loved this place and perhaps it was an off night. I do recommend it, but ask questions about how things are prepared.

Ok this was expectations that went the mixed bag way. Ordered the Himachi, looked nice until I saw a fish scale. Hmm ! Then ordered pasta the Americanta and found a nice piece of blonde hair. So threw off my experience as there was limited QAQC,… need a Gordon R back there.

This is a gem in Waco. Food you can't find anywhere else, and executed at a level no other restaurant is doing in Waco. This is hopefully going to set the tone for chefs in Waco to realize that high class food, presentation, and flavor development are important! We loved every minute of our meal, the atmosphere, and small touches that made this meal the best in Waco!
This is a Michelin star caliber meal. You have all the eclectic ingredients, and the talent to reach the upper echelon of restaurants. I enjoyed every part of this meal, and the little touches like decor, silverware, and drink ware were unparalleled. It felt like New York City in Waco Texas and I am in love. Keep pushing the envelope with your menu, and I can't wait to come back as well as see where you go!
Kid-friendliness: Leave the kids at home for this one! Date night!

Mediocre food. Totally blown away that we were charged $4 for an ice cube (large cube) in the cocktail. That’s a first!!!

Stopped by for a late dinner on a Monday night. Service was great, vibe is cool. I had the only vegetarian entree on the menu which was cacio e pepe. It was delicious, but should have come with a piece of bread to sop up all of that garlic butter at the bottom. When I finally got my bread (btw, a perfectly grilled piece of thick toast) the pasta was a little cold. I also got the confit potatoes which are worth the price of admission…
Best dinner ever!

They were out of Diet Coke. I walked to the fourth floor bar to bring some down myself. I don’t know how the restaurant didn’t send someone to get some. The food was fantastic.
