Hey everyone, I was in Texas for a few days, and my spouse said we have to go to Terry Black's. We arrived around 4 pm on a Tuesday and there was plenty of parking. We went inside and got in the line for our meal. You order your sides 1st, and then you order your meat by the pound and grab your drinks.
Finding seating was no issue. I started to taste my sides and was not impressed. They ran out of mac n cheese. I'm guessing that's the best side they sell.
I tasted my ribs and turkey. This meat had so much flavor. I was impressed. You don't have to add bbq sauce at all. I like pork ribs and this dry rub was on point and packed with flavor.
I decided to order some ribs to go and get some of the new batch of mac n cheese they made.
My ribs were great the next day and the mac and cheese was tasty.
Overall, I give this Eatery 4 stars. The meat is quality. I wasn't a fan of the sides or the dessert. I forgot I had the banana pudding. Have something else.
Be prepared to spend $100 for two people. Go have your experience, but go for lunchtime during the week to avoid a line.

Zoe and Brandon were the best. Their service were excellent. I am definitely coming back just because of them, oh and the food too!
Another "best of" that fails to impress. The pit tour/pit master was very friendly and welcoming. That is about where the hospitality stopped. A few of the serving crew were extremely rude and dismissive. The food was unimpressive. Extremely salty, especially for a 52 dollar rib. The chopped brisket was the best item I had, and I'll wager it was 99% sauce, 1% brisket. The mac and cheese was also pretty good. Over-priced, over hyped. I'm beginning to see a trend with these "best of" recommendations. I'd skip this spot and go to a much better one personally.

Great food, and a very helpful and charming staff. We arrived at the lunch rush, but we're able to get through the line and be seated within 5 minutes. Don't let the line scare you away!
Food was very good. We had the brisket, pork ribs, sausage, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, beans and peach cobbler. Would hesitate to get any of them again, though we were quite surprised by the sausage, the winner for us.
Being able to see the smokers outside was a treat! The employees came to explain everything to my daughter and I, and was a lot of fun to see how they operate.
