I have been eating at the Pizza Place since 1982. I’ve never had a better pizza anywhere. When I moved to Arlington in the mid 90’s. I would drive all the way from Arl to get Roger’s amazing Canadian bacon( real. CB … not just ham playing the part) or their amazing hamburger pizza. I usually order a half n half to eat in the dining room but I’ve been known to order a pizza uncooked so I could make it at home so it’s fresh after an hour drive each way. Their sprinkle cheese is the most unique and the most amazing blended topping I’ve ever had. We recently moved to Godley but I’ll still be making the hour each way drive. Amazing food and amazing community partner. Roger’s support for the schools and the students was second to none and inspiration to many businesses and neighbors alike. I know my name is there in the wood of the back booth somewhere. It’s been 41 years now so I’m sure it’s faded away. RIP Roger. I miss catching up with you while I’m in town visiting. I really need to get that recipe for the sprinkle cheese so when I make a pizza in my new pizza oven from Xmas. ( my pizza will be a sincere but sad imitation of Rogers creation!). I’m sure it’ll taste great on my home made pizza but the Pizza Place pizza is still the best you can get an I’ll never even get close to making his dough and sauce. Cyall soon!!!!! I’m gettin a hankerin for some sprinkle cheese!!!

Roger would roll over in his grave if he knew the phones were muted on Saturday.I called several times to place an order for pickup and kept getting the voicemail.We passed by no one was in the parking lot but the open sign was on.We walked in to order our dinner and was told the phones were muted.Is this part of the “nobody wants to work” movement?

Just went and grabbed a pizza from The Pizza Place on Main...I prefer to support local over the chains...Sadly, was very disappointed in the whole processCalled to place the order and felt like it was an inconvenience.Went to pick it up and ZERO customer service.Pizza was undercooked ..how do you do that?Just a struggle and not at a busy time.Sad to see The Pizza Place failing like this, it use to be very good.

I have eaten at The Pizza Place for decades and always found two things for certain...GREAT Pizza and GREAT staff. Roger Grizzard set the expectation level for both the food quality/taste and customer service and that continues today. We love The Pizza Place and are so thankful it is an ongoing part of our town.
Not if they changed their process but the pizza crust was dry and hard. Normally, it's VERY good. I'm surprised, I will try again.

Great hometown Pizza place. Really good subs, pizza and everything is homemade, or at least tasted and appeared that way. The service was amazing, super friendly and catered to our requests without hesitation. Even the manager walked around and introduced himself and made sure everything was to our liking. We'll be back for sure and definitely a recommended spot for a sub and a Pizza.Kid-friendliness: Small kids table with a few toys and even a TV with kids shows to keep them occupied.

Sweet and kind Staff. However, we didn't have anyone come by to see if we needed anything. The pizza could have used a bit more sauce. The mushrooms were not fresh but from a jar. Bacon was great! We didn't know if we were supposed to clean up our table or if the staff does it?!... Communication is a bit lacking. There is a new Owner so, hopefully he will make a few Positive changed!:)
