A delicious and different option to eat near d3l space center in houston. The staff is very friendly and helped us with some questions. The dishes were delicious. We spend 20 usd per person. The meat of the fajitas is very soft and the garnachas are delicious

The food is as authentic as you get. Everything on the menu that is a typical Guatemalan dish exceeded any of my most hopeful expectations. The tamales (not the ones most people are familiar with) would have got me in trouble for saying this, but they were as good if not better than my Grandma's. Everything I tasted was better than any other Guatemalan restaurant that I have ever dined in. The atmosphere is clean and no overwhelmingly Guatemalanesque as some places tend to do. The food speaks for itself. The service was very good, yet I would recommend just a little more attentiveness to the diners needs. But it was in no way bad service.

Ate here on Thursday night. I have been sick for 3 days. Should have taken the first sign of no one else in the restraunt....

It's my first time here with my friends, so I ordered the tostadas, while the other two had beef stew and flautas, respectively. There were no issues at all with the food, and we all thought it was good.

I like to try new places to eat when I travel, so when I saw the sign reading "ATITLAN - Guatemalan Food", I had to check it out.I only ordered 2 things and they were both fresh and delicious! The Flautas (4) were stuffed with chicken, and topped with lettuce, crema and crumbled cheese. Only $5, too!I also tried one of their Sopes and it was so good! Black beans, meat, lettuce, diced tomatoes, cilantro, crema and crumbled cheese. I spent less than $10 and got plenty of fresh, delicious food for lunch.Give them a try, if this type of food is to your liking. I think you'll like it!

I wouldn't recommend this place to a human, but to non-human I would. This place was horrible. Ordered a chicken quesadilla, it came with brown lettuce at no extra charge, bland chicken with many tendons sprinkled in and cheese. Seriously, really terrible. Go to mamacitas.

The first time I went in there, about a year ago, it was great. The second time I brought a friend and was slightly disappointed but I still returned a third time... And found nobody speaks English! I arrived about three in the afternoon, and found only one clean table in the entire place. The crowd that apparently had rushed through there prior to my arrival was long gone, but the staff was making absolutely no effort to clear any of the tables. The food was less impressive the third time than it was on either of my other two visits. It's not likely that I'll be going back.

Salty & old food, with dirty silverware, service not good at all.

Buyer BEWARE! We ordered about $17 worth from their small plate menu. Everything had a nice presentation, but tasted just okay. When we went to check out, we were told our total was $30 flat. I told them that was too much according to the menu, in which they responded that the prices had went up. These days that is understandable, but it is unacceptable when the menu you hand your customers says otherwise and you don't notify them upfront. According to them, every item we ordered nearly doubled in cost. I asked to see an itemized receipt and they said they couldn't give me one. Ridiculous. I handed them $20 cash, said Thank you, and left.Other things to note: The restuarant felt/lookedvery dirty, we waited 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there, and the ladies restroom was disgusting. I won't return. There is a much better Guatamalean restuarant just down the road.

I've tried this place twice and just don't care for it. Last time I had a "hot dog," a torta with lettuce mounded over sliced sausage and doused with ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise. Why did I pick such a mess? Because I like Nobi's hot dog. Well this was terrible.
