My husband and I love Sakura Piano Bar, and Sakura Downtown is just as great! The owner & staff are wonderful, and the food is incredible. It's a nice quiet place to relax for lunch and enjoy phenomenal food. Highly recommend!

I'm sorry but I have NEVER in my life received crab Rangoon this small IN MY LIFE and it tastes like egg roll with crab sauce drizzled into it. The sushi is below average.

My husband and I recently had lunch at Sakura, the man that greeted us was friendly, didn't offer refills at all but we would have denied anyway considering the cups used were 50 cent target plastic cups and we didn't feel that they were up to health code, the only reason my husband finished his water was because he couldn't stand the taste of the shrimp from the friend rice we ordered. The place was extremely dark for a lunch service (now I know they keep it so dim because of the roach issue--I'm guessing). We dined in with our baby and we had sushi, rice and edamame but upon finishing our meal a roach crawled up the wall by our table and into the bar area I was horrified so I immediately stood up in disgust and then noticed a second roach crawling from the kitchen to behind the bar as well. We could not have gotten out of there any quicker, they had customers dining and I did not want to make a scene so I paid and left but I was disgusted and immediately wanted a refund. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times with no answer, I understand that there was only one person working so I messaged them via social media. I was so disgusted that once I left the premises I had to pull over and vomit which is a shame because the sushi had potential. The rice and Edamame were decent but you could tell it was previously frozen store bought. Everything was pretty pricey so we finished everything, obviously and it wasn't until we were almost done eating that we saw the roaches. After reaching out via social media we were given the owners phone number and were told that she knew we were wanting a refund. My husband spoke on the phone with her as I am feeling sick to my stomach with chills (I think I have food poisoning). After letting her know what happened she said that there was nothing she could do about it because it's a "building issue" it's not just her restaurant and "we ate almost all our food" maybe if we "didn't eat" she would be able to do something. That's laughable. How were we supposed to know there was a roach infestation before we ordered and dined? Are people now needing to ask restaurants prior to ordering if they have roaches in the kitchen? She denied the refund and didn't offer any type of mediation to the issue and honestly she just said a lot of words that really meant "I know of the roach issue, not my fault you ate here". Also wanting to note that the man that was cooking, serving and greeting was offering people FREE food and desserts in exchange for reviews. He offered us free mochi at checkout which we denied because we were so disgusted and disappointed. To the owner--If we wanted free food don't you think we would have taken the free dessert? We are truly grossed out and if the roach issue is such a known problem, maybe you should close your doors until it's under control. I will be calling the health department next. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

I was really disappointed in this place. The sushi is very much below average and still expensive. Hardly a step above grocery store sushi. The rice in the rolls did not look like sushi rice and it was too sweet. The plating of the rolls was sloppy and there were hardly any toppings. I've had much better sushi at that price. Unfortunately don't plan to return here.

Came here to pick uo a door dash order. It was not ready. The man that was supposed to be making sushi was doing a Rubik's cube. He didn't stop to acknowledge me nor did he start preparing the sushi in the order. A lady came out and told him to start. He did NOT wash his hands after manipulating the Rubik's cube and then proceeded to work on a different order. The lady came back out and told him to start the door dash order. Meanwhile he continued to eat his food WHILE attempting to make the sushi roll. Then he proceeded to FaceTime someone and show off that he had completed the Rubik's cube all while I am STILL waiting on the order. Not only was this incredibly AWFUL customer service, but the hygiene is ridiculous. I have never and will never eat here and would strongly advise anyone else of the same after what I witnessed while waiting on the door dash order. Seriously, steer clear and go somewhere else for sushi.

It was okay. Over priced for what you're getting. The owner was very nice and the food was decent enough. I think we paid about $20 a person. That's kind of pricey for a lunch meal. It is a local owned restaurant so I would give it a try and see.
