What a great little spot! The catfish poboy was real good and the portabella burger was fantastic!! They just need to add Cole slaw to go with the catfish. We sat outside right by the water.

The bartender was point on with his drinks! The Bloody Mary was amazing. The Old Fashion was tasty too. Our waitress was very friendly. She had recommendations on what to eat. We ordered 2 appetizers, potato skins and fried pickle spears. 2 of us ordered chicken fried chicken with onion rings, it was delicious! One ordered the shrimp po'boy with onion rings. It was on point. The last dish was a sliced beef sandwich with peppers and onions. We sat on the patio and it was beautiful. We also had some delicious fresh baked cookies and Blue Bell Ice cream.

Fantastic Dining Experience in Wimberley!My visit to this restaurant in Wimberley was nothing short of delightful! After reading the glowing Google reviews, I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. The service was outstanding, and the food exceeded my expectations. I opted for the buffalo chicken sandwich and Mahi tacos, both of which were bursting with flavor. The side of fries/hash puppies was a tasty addition too! The indoor seating area was cozy with a decent number of tables, and the bar service added to the inviting atmosphere. But what truly stole my heart was the outdoor seating area, offering an exceptional view that made my dining experience truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone visiting Wimberley!Parking: Few parking spots opposite to the restaurant

Laid back atmosphere with comfort cooking.The service needs work though. My entree (crawfish etouffee) came out before the appetizer (boudin balls). I asked about the other entree and was told it was right behind. Took a solid 15 more minutes for it to come out, at which point I'd finished mine.They blamed the trainee for messing up the order, which didn't sit well with me.Worth checking out, but temper any expectations.

This is a good place to grab lunch and recharge after a morning of walking around Wimberly's shops. I started with a Texas Tornado and couldn't pass up the $2 Thursday discount special. This is a good fruity drink for anyone that likes pineapple juice. I wish I could have had another. The Mahi Tacos followed and I suggest you leave room for the frozen lemon pie. It is so good.

When ordering my food I specifically asked how much a side would be. The waitress confirmed it was $3.50 so I ordered it. She only came back to the table twice the whole night. Since she wasn't coming back I asked the food runner for an extra cup of sour cream and she said she would be right back with it. It never came. I could see small things like this happening on a busy night but it was not busy at all when we were there. Regardless, it's not a big deal. Eventually, the waitress came back to collect payment. The bill seemed too high so after tipping 20% I requested a physical copy of the receipt. I'm glad I did because that's how I realized the side was not, in fact, $3.50 like I had been told. I was charged $10... for a side baked potato... The waitress never brought back the physical copy I had requested so I had to ask for it again up front. I know prices everywhere are increasing but this just felt disrespectful. I grew up coming to this restaurant a lot. It's a beautiful location and I have always enjoyed my visits. However, this last experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

If I'd been down by the creek my dining experience may have been much better.. we were in a little Build-Off area in the bar area overlooking the outside on this cold evening .. Cold room.. Great View, my chicken fried steak (real steak ) was the best meal I had on my four day trip to Wimberley.. Service was horrible!
