Veggie omelets were scrambles. Ordered toast but delivered biscuit by a different server that took back the biscuit. After eating most of my breakfast our server returned to hear me inform that I was still waiting for my toast; she said she was unaware (presumably not told by the different surver that delivered the food)... Toast was delivered only 30% buttered by the kitchen staff (see photo). Both the busboy and surver were observed wiping their nose with a bare hand.Sorry to report these issues about a restaurant seemily popular with the locals but improvements are needed from my pov.

My wife and I were in town on some quick business. We were recommended to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Sunday brunch seems to be a very busy time, so we were very pleased to get a seat very quickly. Our server, I'm sorry her name slips my mind, was outstanding. As a guy who really enjoys food, I was very pleased. Everything was brought to our table in under 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. I didn't see any of the staff that were not moving in a hurry to take care of their customers. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing vs the quantity and quality of the food. Ballard Street Cafe will remain on our list of places to stop and eat when we're in town.

Stopped in to get a nice, crisp fish sandwich with all the fixins’, golden-fried onion rings, and a refreshing cold beverage. — Fantastic feelings arisen of that oft-forgotten timeless grandeur! ?Happy & friendly service, nice gentle atmosphere, cool villagers seated neatly all around — this hidden joint is soon to be more known, so clean & fast, and a veritable blessing to all who enjoy the finest Americana! ??{I unfortunately got texted by my daughter at VA Tech and had to repack all to go quick. Still, a really delightful quick venture that will be repeated my next time visiting in Wylie!} #AngelWaitresses #DownHomeValues #GentleVibes ✌️?❤️
