This quickly became one of our favorite places to go! Great food and even greater service! Best smoked turkey around!

I happen to be in Wylie and decided to try this place out. My expectations were not high because BBQ is either great or it is not and lately the great choices are hard to find. In addition, there was an Enchiladas option on the menu which confused me but I wanted BBQ.Man am I glad I stopped in!. I ordered a meat loaded baked potato with brisket as my meat choice and it was perfect! Taste, texture, temperature, and all around moist. I asked for the original BBQ sauce instead of the spicey option. I could see how thick the sauce was and the dark rich color told me that it was a sweet sauce instead of a tangy sauce. I am not a fan of sweet BBQ sauce but it was delicious. I am glad I selected it.This place is good and I am eager to return, even if it is to order Enchiladas at a BBQ place!? I definitely recommend stopping in and spending your money here!

Honestly the best BBQ place for me...meats are tender, sides are delicious and the service is amazing, I take a patient of mine at least once a week and Ashley always know's exactly how to make it special for her.I highly encourage everyone to try this little place here in Wylie Texas, it's so worth the drive❤?

Had 2 brisket and 1 chicken taco with spicy creamed corn on Taco Tuesday. Meat is tender and flavorful and corn is perfect level of spice. Tacos are stuffed full of meat. You cannot beat the price in Tuesdays. And their ribs are fantastic.

Kickin' Q has been great the few times we've been. Meats: - We like a marbled brisket and we sometimes forget to ask, but they always serve us tender delicious meat. - The chicken was also tender. Yup, even the white meat. - We loved the sauce. Nice balance of smokey and sweet. Sides: - Potato salad is southern style with pickle flavor, none of that gross sugary stuff you get everywhere. I wish all places served it like this. Could use a touch more Mayo but that's my preference. It's so good as it is. - The spicy corn tastes like a yummy queso dip. -Fried okra was the crispiest crunchiest I've had. Don't know if it's made in house and double breaded but wow, everyone loved it. - Mac and cheese was the only thing that could use improvement. Maybe some garlic powder to up the flavor a bit? Dash of paprika? Cheese powder? They did top it with melted cheese which is so considerate. - I love that they include a piece of cornbread with plates. Plain white bread is such a snooze. Rolls are hard to keep hot and fresh. Cornbread is a great and dare I say, yummier alternative. Staff/owner: - Friendly/nice and answered all my questions. - Let me try small samples if I was unsure about how stuff tasted. - The wait for the food was not bad at all. Me and my family enjoy this place and will keep coming back. It's worth the price.

It's ok. I had my usual at any BBQ joint, a fully loaded chopped brisket baked potato and banana pudding and it was just ok. Pros Potato was suuuuuper soft like a pillow The meat was flavorful Cons The SAUCE. I could be wrong, but im pretty sure it's out of a bottle.... super thick and commercial tasting...bleh The MEAT was dry, but I kind of figured that it was going to be once I saw it roasting under the lamp as someone else said, but again, great flavor. The PUDDING....Now this one may be a personal preference, but I couldn't finish it. Strong banana artificially flavored pudding, off brand cool whip (you know, the kind with the weird after taste), and the ultimate sin..... off brand nilla wafers It was pretty bad. The actual bananas in there the only good thing about it. Ultimately....would I eat it again? Probably. Definetly scared to try any other dessert though lol

The experience was not wholly enjoyable for some rains outside of the restaurant's control, but we weren't overly impressed with or by the food either. I'm not a world-class beef eater, and the rather dry ribs wouldn't increase my carnality. Our server was attentive and interested and brought some charm to the visit. The place was ultimately packed, so there clearly is a church-crowd following.

So my gripe without many Texas BBQ joints is that they use a thin bbq sauce. I personally hate that kind of sauce. Being from the East coast I love thicker more molasses based sauces. The sauce here is excellent. Pulled pork was really tender and flavorful. Beans and Potatoes were decent but that's not why you go to a BBQ place. Sides werent spectacular but not bad either. The cornbread served with the meal was a nice touch and very good. Friendly staff..no complaints really. I enjoyed my visit and will return.

Just Ok. On second thought not OK!!!! Warning!!! if you like real Texas Q turn around get in your car and leave. Im only taking the time to write this to warn you its not happening. I would not have gone here if not for the fact my grandson had been here a few months ago. He liked the dirty fries and I thought why not. I knew when we drove up what to expect. That instinct was strenthened when we walked in the front door. Further, when I saw the dry meat getting a sun tan under the heat lamp. There is a Norht Texas tradition of chopped beef sandwiches in the area that goes back generations. My first taste of brisket was on a toasted bun. Chopped beef with sauce and you make your judgement. Thats my standard and they failed. That really all the time I have for this place. Mistake and I hope my grandson doesnt ask me to return!!!!! Recommendation in case you didnt get my suttle suggestion above. Dont go
First, Savanah, managing and running the orders was nothing short of amazing. Incredible first impression and Excellent experience.2nd, all of our meals were excellent. Their Meats are great and their sides were all very good. I will definitely be coming back!

It was better than I expected. I had the brisket and it was mostly moist and tasty. The sides were fine and the corn bread I would prefer to have been thicker and moister. I would recommend trying this place and will return at some point.

Wow!!!! My husband is a very picky eater. Sometimes I think he just likes to complain. He's allowed to. He's been eating at barbecue restaurants for over 70 years and he knows what he likes. I kept telling him to visit this place because I heard the reviews were excellent. He went in he got promptly served and he said that the brisket was the best he had ever had. That is saying a lot. He told them he wanted the fatty part of a brisket. He got enough for 4 barbecued brisket sandwiches. When he makes his brisket sandwiches, he lightly toasts the hamburger buns, adds the brisket on top with barbecue sauce, and tops it with some coleslaw. Keep up the great work. It is so nice to have a BBQ brisket restaurant where the brisket is not dry. He also raved about the BBQ sauce. Please try this awesome place and see for yourself. We will be back.

The barbecue there is excellent. The brisket is very tender and has a great flavor with the smoke. The ham is good and the pulled pork is fantastic. Get the spicy sauce to go with anything - it's damn good! Highly recommend this place. If you dine in on Thursday nights they have live music.
