The one in Rockwall does its job in the one in Wylie does not. I went to the Wylie location and they didn’t put sauces in my bag for Gozo’s and they didn’t put everything on top of my sushi that was on it.

This is a hidden gem in Wylie. The sushi (tiger, green dragon and Philadelphia crunch) and wonton soup are soooo yummy :)

Dinner takeout was superb tonight. Lion King, Shrimp crunch, and Spicy T rolls all came home still crunchy and decent temp. The portions were fair. Didn’t feel like wallet got reamed. There was a slight hint of smokiness that added greatly to the flavor. They were quick too, about ten minutes for three rolls.Kid-friendliness: Staff spoke with my three year old, who kept asking for fresh lemonade. Friendly place. Highly recommend.

ordered some pretty basic salmon nigiri so i could try sushi for the first time a little while back- the salmon was sticky difficult to bite through, and the rice was overcooked. had to throw the nigiri away.i really enjoy octopus, but what i received here was also tough and difficult to bite through instead of being tender and chewy.we ordered some tiger rolls (which the rest of my family seemed to enjoy) but the rice was still overcooked, and they put sauce on them anyways even though we asked for none. maybe i caught them on an off day since the rest of the reviews seem good? but i really didn't enjoy it.can't speak for the atmosphere or the service since i waited in the car.

I love the Addison location but don’t live close to it. Tried this location out and sushi is still good but was considerably disappointed compared to the addison location. I got the Louisiana roll & baked salmon roll. Both which are usually packed with flavor at the other location seemed very bland here at wylie and they put very low effort into the presentation which was also disappointing :/ for $60 food I expect a little better..

I go here at least once every week because the sushi is so incredibly good. I love the atmosphere and the amount of drinks they have (ramune, peace teas, sodas). I’ve come in so often they’ve remembered my order, and it makes me feel so good to know they care about regulars :)

NOTE: menu pricing has changed so I uploaded the updated menu! The staff here are super friendly! Although we opted to dine in, you will need to order at the counter. The sushi was ready in about 10 minutes or so after ordering! They were super fast despite having a handful of take out orders to fulfill as well. The food was good! We ordered 2 rolls, and a bento box to share, which was plenty for the both of us. Our bill came out to be $50, which was a deal for all the sushi we got!The bento box came with 4 pieces of California roll, and we specifically asked for salmon sushi, which was an extra $2. The house salad was fine, wasn’t particularly a fan, since it was just chopped lettuce and a few strands of carrot and cabbage. Wish it had the traditional ginger salad dressing they usually serve at other Japanese restaurants! The miso soup that came with the bento box was really good (extra salty just how I like it). The fried gyozas, shrimp tempura, California rolls, and salmon sushi that came with the Bento Box were really tasty. The star of the show would be the special rolls! The sushi rolls were very generous in size. We ordered the Lion King roll and the Bikini roll. Both rolls were really good and we’d definitely order them again!

Thanks to Yelp, we found a cool small local sushi place in the area! The restaurant is small, but plenty of seating available on an early Saturday dinner!
