We loved the El Guero in Kamas so when it closed we tried the Heber location. Same great food and salsa bar! And an extremely clean restaurant.

This is our go-to Mexican food restaurant in Heber. It's delicious, affordable, and we will continue to go there. Their new location is great, as the old one sometimes got a little cramped and warm.

This place is always amazing.. authentic Mexican food . Friendly staff to explain anything you don't know. Will also give awesome recommendations about personized tastes . Yeah I will always go backParking: Man can't even say how many spots. Even when it's at its busiest there is room to park.

Tasteless food and lack of any service at all. Worst than fast food chains. Save your money and go pretty much anywhere else. This place needs a cook and a manager that actually cares.
I have been to this place at least 20 times. I want to love it but the quality of the food is just so average. The meat has very little flavor, the tamales don’t taste fresh, and the birria tacos are the greasiest dish I have ever eaten in any Mexican restaurant. I’ve gone mainly to fill up when hungry, but yesterday was my final attempt. The birria had no flavor, the meat was very fatty, and it left the plate covered in pool of oil. I’m looking for a reason to return but I can’t find one.

I suppose, living in TX has spoiled us for good Mexican food. We came to Heber to visit the ice castles and were starving for some good Mexican. Spoiler alert: we still haven’t found any in UT. When you think of Mexican, you think of bold flavors, intense seasonings, and heady spices. All of the above was absent in our meals. I got a barbacoa burrito and my husband got the chicken mulita. His was dry and entirely flavorless to the point where he had to soak it in salsa to even eat it. Mine was slightly better since you’ve got to try really hard to not have at least some taste in barbacoa, but it was still bland and saddening. Service was fine, considering the restaurant is basically self-serve after placing the order, and the restaurant was very clean. Overall, it made for a very sad Valentine’s Day dinner and we won’t be in a position to give it another chance anytime soon.

Stopped for tacos and they were ok and priced fairly. The meet lacked some flavor. Nothing to get excited about.
