Roosters Brewing Company and Restaurant

We went to Roosters for the first time a few weeks ago. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere and Service were also good. While the food was descent it was nothing special. The fish tacos were good. The burgers were also good. Fries were mediocre. About on par with Applebee's. But the 5 cheese appetizer was really good. Overall an enjoyable experience but doesnt live up to its hype.

I came in ONCE on a Date. I had Salmon tacos. The servers were just doing their own thing not many people in their dining still couldn’t get any help? The portions were small and the prices were large. It was more of a hors d’oeuvre than a meal.

We ordered the Pear & Gorgonzola salad with double grilled chicken & the Baked Chicken Milano. It was fantastic!

We used to love eating here, but the last 2 times are food has been awful. There were 5 of us and only 1 of us was happy with it. I got pasta and it came out luke warm. It was also tasteless. I'm guessing it sat these while waiting for the other food. It took forever to get waited on and then our waitress never bothered to check on us after we got our food. She was too busy having long conversations with her other tables. Never got refills or more water, since we were done by the time she walked over. Our meal was definitely not worth what we paid for it and we will not be going back.

Taste of my Philly cheesesteak was great but the amount of meat was paltry… server said it was the owners who define the amount of meat that goes in there. Too bad they skimp on the meat.

My team and I are from out of town and this place was right by our hotel! The food is so amazing that we came back a second time! Oda was an amazing serving and even though I accidentally spilled my drink she helped us clean it up right away and was so very kind to our entire party. She is a shining star and deserves to be recognized! Can’t recommend this place enough!

The food has always been enjoyable but my rating is for a less than perfect experience. I'm used to eating in, but occassionally I get to-go from Roosters. Tonight, my togo was cold even though I picked it up on time. I called and simply asked if there was anything they could do. The manager, Jared took such wonderful care of my concerns by immediately offering solutions without question. I can support them confidently! Thank you Jared! Also, the ravioli that I tried tonight for the first time is hands down one of the best meals I've ever had, ;) even cold. Now for eating in, its a high class place and always feels elevated when I go there, the food is delcious, displayed well, and the pricing is very affordable despite the class Roosters offers

Saved Our Night – Incredible Service & Hospitality!

We rolled into town late and were having no luck finding a place to eat. Thankfully, we found this gem of a restaurant—showed up about an hour before closing, and despite the time, the staff welcomed us like family.

The host was incredibly helpful from the moment we walked in, and our waitress? Absolutely phenomenal. She was honest about the menu, made spot-on recommendations, and her outgoing personality instantly made us feel at home. You could tell she genuinely cared—she even gave us tips on local spots to check out since we’re not from the area.

The service was top-notch, the food was delicious, and the whole experience turned what could’ve been a stressful night into one of the highlights of our trip. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Kai was the best server! He went above and beyond and made time to connect with us. The staff, all in all, was spectacular. The food could be a bit better, but it’s worth it for the experience and the staff.

Honestly was a perfect experience we didn’t have to wait for more than a few minutes for a group of 7. I don’t remember the name of what I ordered but it was baked chicken seasoned with lemon and herbs with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I wished the broccoli was steamed a little more because it wasn’t cooked which isn’t my favorite but other than that an amazing experience.

We had a great time dining at Roosters in Layton! The vibe is casual yet stylish — exposed brick, warm lighting, and modern touches make it feel inviting and comfortable. From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and attentive.

The menu had lots of tempting options, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. You can tell they take pride in their food and the overall experience.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area — we’ll definitely be back!
