Quality and friendly. I like their olives, dates, and tahini.
I wouldn’t get a meat or baklava from here .I got meat he said it’s Lamb : it wasn’t it was a goat meat and it was rotten meat.charge me $10 per pound . Owner tights the bag in purpose very tight so you can’t open it . My suggestion have a Scissor in the car so you cut & smell while u r still in the parking lot . For me it was very far to drive to return. Baklava was very old and dry I had to throw away both to garbage . Why owner lies with smile I don’t know Some people are fake
One of the best Arabic market in the valley. Amazing people. Great energy. And has all the nostalgic Iraqi stuff from my childhood ❤️ definitely recommended

Best guy in town I love to go to his store just to see his smile
Excellent service your number one stop for Middle Eastern groceries check them out. You won’t be disappointed. Everything Halal.
I would not buy from them specially bread. They buy a bread machine from abou Kareem was have store in state street near i80 highway North side however when I work with him he was telling me he like to have everything clean in the bakery area so I get happy because someone is really care for people that they well eat this bread and thing most be clean anyway he buy the bread Mixer from the guy I mention his name in top that mixer was have the metal roast what they do was putting oil in it so they don’t let the roast to show and since i have to wash the mixer in each time I use it I see the roast and as well drop oil in the bast m mixing so I told hamza about it at first is he was listening to me that not good and we can’t keep use it because people can get poison when he call the guy buy the mixer from the other one came and he was know about the mixer he start tell hamza just don’t wash it leave it like that because if you wash it the water get bacteria I was like what at that time I was have sponge washing the floor with in front of hamza the mixer owner pick that sponge from floor and start to clean the mixer with it then he start to say just use it you don’t have to tel anyone plus people not going to see that I have fight with him and since hamza was already hate me because I talk to him about his smoking in ramadan I explained to him just because I see him as brother to me he was mad and start to treat me rude then start to change my schedule want me to work at night and start to complain because he see me I was the bakery items I use to bake with he start to show how much he care about the money and he don’t need to put time to clean it. since I know it’s my responsibility to leave this place because i was between 2 racist Men hamza and abou Kareem the mixer owner. I say that because people have the right to know and a men like those to love money only don’t care what can happen to people m sure he well be still using same mixer. Thank You for taking the time and reading this. and I see everyone see this it well be his responsibility to share it with people who buy from this store.because when’s someone know such a things like this and don’t talk Allah seen and hearing

One of the best Middle Eastern stores in Utah is the Shako Mako store. It does not have any expired items. All of its merchandise is very good. The store owner, Hamza, is a very respectable person with very high morals and respects all his customers.
