Both of us had the steak dinner with mashed potatoes and a green salad. The steaks were tender and a good size. The green salad was fresh and plentiful. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. It was Wednesday so we got to choose free pie but you can only choose from specific pies not any flavor of your choice!

My husband ordered takeout breakfast so I could have the day off on Sunday! It reminded me of Sunday breakfast with my grandmother. Grits and scrambled eggs and fried eggs and roast for everyone else. The staff at the checkout were super nice and friendly! Great place for breakfast! We will be doing Sunday breakfast often- takeout- as both of us were really surpass at how reasonable the process are and the food was cooked perfectly how it was ordered!Dietary restrictions: We do not eat pork and V.I. respected that with our order.
Village Inn is a staple for my wife and me. We started taking ballroom dance lessons up the street and OUR VI is right on the way. Plus, the classes are on Wednesday...WEDNESDAY!?!? Wonderful American-style breakfast. The chocolate was still hot yet delicious. I've never experienced anything like what our server did before. My guests questioned if I was going to tip with cash or a credit card as they were about to end their meal. When you give me the bill, I'll fill in the tip, I said. They took my card, and after two minutes, they said there was a problem and asked me to come to the cashier. They asked me to tip in cash again when we arrived to the cashier because they didn't want to use my card. I said, "Okay, I have money." This seems quite suspicious to me.
