This little cafe is quiet, bright, and cheery. We had a latte and a cappuccino, both delicious and made from oat milk. The latte was very good, but the cappuccino was amazing. Both the fried egg sandwich and rice egg dishes were amazing. My partner and I have been working our way through various breakfast spots in SLC and this is officially one of our favorites.

I can’t say enough good things about the Dayroom. We came for brunch on a Saturday while in town for a conference. Oat milk latte was perfect. The potato waffle was so different and just delicious, prepared Benedict style with an egg and hollandaise. The chili verde was SPICY (and tasty) so beware! The pumpkin French toast was truly special. If I ever return to SLC this will be my first stop.

Okay, what can I tell you about a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that hasn't been said? Retro-chic environment with a simple menu and seating style. I ordered 'The Norm' which has its own ironic ring to it. I strategically ordered over medium eggs as most restaurants can't get that right. This dish came with 'some simple potatoes' and fresh cheese and toast and 'Your Eggs'. I was amazed and flabbergasted to find the eggs were perfectly cooked with a custard-like consistency.
