Solid aviary, the staff are smart and friendly, and they answered all our questions. We also ate the breakfast bagels and churros at the Cafe and they gave us a ton of chips on the side. The bagel was pretty good.Don't miss the Kea! They are like monkey birds, tons of action and lots of fun.

Amazing place! Super clean, the info tabs were easy to read with top facts in each exhibit. The bird's show was very interesting and the presenter very knowledgeable and fun. They made the most of the show having everyone really involved, interesting facts about the bird's, and having the birds' so close was a plus I was not expecting. I'll come Sidon every time I visit SLC, for sure!

We are visiting from out of state. My daughter is 8 and loves birds. This place was perfect for her. Her favorite was their rainforest. Beautiful birds and everything is put together very nicely. All animals seems very well cared for.

We went on a weekday and it was pretty empty! There were a few other small groups, but not many. We didn't realize it was completely outdoors before coming and it snowed off and on during our visit. We had a lot of fun seeing all of the different birds! Our favorites were the peacock, the toucans, the kookaburras, and the Keas. And the owls ?

Tracy Aviary is an underrated gem within Salt Lake. My boyfriend and I have been here for a few easy weekend afternoon dates. We always leave happy. The birds are beautiful and fun to look at. The staff seem to really care about the well-being of their birds.I would highly recommend the Lorikeet Adventure. There’s a very modest fee, but we have loved interacting hands on with the lorikeets! The aviary is a great option for local folks looking for an inexpensive change of scenery, maybe for a date or an outing to catch up with a friend.

Second time we’ve been there. Wonderful place! Particularly loved the owls in the forest exhibit and the rain forest. You can’t go wrong spending a few hours here.

Nestled in a corner of Liberty Park, Tracy Aviary is an underrated gem of Salt Lake City! The daily bird show is really well done and perfect for guests of all ages. The aviary itself is well cared for, and the staff could not be nicer or more knowledgeable. It’s clear that the animals are loved not only by their caretakers but also by the community. With free parking on site and a low likelihood of crowds, Tracy Aviary is a particularly great option for families with small kiddos—though it seems to appeal pretty universally to all ages!

We love the #TracyAviary I’ve been visiting since I was a child in Grade School. My husband is a lover of birds so we bought the yearly pass so we can visit as often as we like which is at least once a month. It is fun to see the birds in different seasons and different times. The birds are more vocal at times which is really fun. The bird caregivers take the birds out for walks around the aviary which provides for some fun interactions. It’s a beautiful place to escape the city and just enjoy nature. We recommend visiting Tracy Aviary and Botanical Gardens as much as possible and support the work of saving these lovely creatures.

I am a bird enthusiast. Oh my gosh. I absolutely loved everything about this place! It's definitely wheelchair accessible!! I could fit through every building without an issue with my wheelchair. There were a few tight spaces but doable in and through the habitat paths.I could tell these birds were very well cared for. Habitats were clean and safe. All birds looked healthy and happy. Chirping, flying, swimming, nesting, etc.. There were 2 or more of each species in each habitat. The picture information plaques were easy to see, read, and understand. There were also interactive displays, bird pictures and their calls, questions with multiple-choice answers, etc..We did the lorikeet add-on experience and enjoyed every bit. Be mindful, birds are living beings, and you may get marked. I did, but s**t happens...lolAll the staff we encountered were super friendly, eager to answer questions, informative, helpful, etc...There were many types of trees, shrubs, etc. with name plaques in front of them. There was a laminated paper you could carry with you around the park if you wanted more information on them.
