Urban hill exceeded our expectations in terms of food, drink and atmosphere. Our server Tim came up with some amazing cocktails on the fly using icelandic liquer upon our request (I still think they should be on the menu). Our food was perfectly cooked and the service was fantastic. I can't think of a bad thing to say if I tried. You'd be missing out If you didn't stop here during your travels.

Fast service, great food, such attention to detail and flavors. Never thought gochujang could be elevated like this… life changing. Pork belly was absolutely perfect, the best plate of it we’ve tried thus far. Fatty, moist, tender, paired with fresh and acidic ingredients, just everything we were looking for and hitting on all levels. Risotto and couscous cooked to perfection. Just an amazing experience! Not to mention they give you a polaroid picture for your birthday, had no idea what a pleasant surprise. Would absolutely recommend.

I had a really great experience at Urban Hill and would definitely recommend it. We started with the lump crab chile relleno, which was flavorful and a nice way to kick off the meal. For my main dish, I tried the strozzapreti pasta. The pasta was perfectly cooked and had a subtle spicy kick at the end of each bite, which I enjoyed. I do think it could be even better with a bit of added protein, but it was still very good overall.
My friend ordered the lamb porterhouse chops, and that was easily the star of the night. The lamb was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. He really enjoyed it and said it was one of the best he’s had in a while.
The service throughout the evening was excellent—our server was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere is modern and lively but still comfortable, making it a great place for a night out.
A tip: make a reservation if you can, since it gets busy even on weekdays, or plan to arrive before 6 PM. Parking can feel a little confusing at first, but their website explains it well, and once you know where to go, there’s plenty of space (just be sure to get it validated).
Overall, Urban Hill is definitely worth visiting, and I’d be happy to go back and try more dishes.

I must have caught them on an off night, and I hope to give them another chance in the future. The restaurant was packed and very loud on September 30th. The host was lovely and was able to find a seat for me at the bar, but it immediately went downhill from there. The service, which so many reviews rave about, was nonexistent. My menu was left on the table for the entire meal, when each course was brought over the food runner left with alarming speed and didn't bother to check for necessary silverware, and most frustratingly, it took nearly 20 minutes for the bartenders to run my credit card to pay. I didn't get the impression that anyone cared at all about my experience there. The staff clearly lacked the training to handle such a busy night, and that extends to the kitchen.
I ordered the French Onion soup, and it had the unpleasant dishwater taste characteristic of bad French onion soups. This was followed up by a heavily-sauced black cod dish that unforgivably still had those long little bones in it! When I felt the bones poking around the back of my throat, I knew I could prepare a better fish dish at home. The bartender/servers didn't comment on the mass of bones I left in the dish. The GOAT cocktail I ordered had an odd, pre-mixed taste to it. The only saving grace was an excellent shot of espresso: thank you to whomever prepared that!
With tax and tip, this came to $100 for bad French onion soup, a mediocre cocktail, dreadful fish, and a shot of espresso. Given how poor and frantic the service was, I didn't feel comfortable stating my problems during the meal service. But this was way overpriced and simply not good.
I hope others continue to have a better experience at Urban Hill than I did, and that I'll have the chance to catch them on a better night in the future.

Was a bit disappointed. The lamb chop was unevenly cooked and not really that flavorful, it was ordered medium rare and it was a mix of medium and medium well. The risotto was easily the star of that dish. The striped bass was decent, with the rice underneath being a little bit better than the actual fish. Overall the bass dish was good, but nothing special.
The ceviche was not really like any ceviche I’ve ever had and was very disappointing. It was more like some sort of creamy seafood salad… the calamari was really good, though the chorizo was a bit salty.
The cocktails were just okay, I love old fashioneds and whiskey in general, I was very underwhelmed by the blue velvet.
Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was okay, kind of a weird spot it’s located it in.
I was on the fence about a 3 vs a 4 star review, but ultimately went with a 4 given the service.

Fairly expensive, small portions, but very tasty.
The food is very good, but most dishes are best suited to a foodie.
If you love experimenting with flavor profiles, then you'll love the food here!

We had a group of six with no reservation. The wait was at least 45 minutes. Jessica got us on the outdoor patio (per our request) in 10 mins!
Our waitress Gabi described the starters and entrees in great detail. Our meal was incredible and the atmosphere was perfect.

This review is long overdue- went in with fiancée for my birds dinner back in August and had a very enjoyable experience. I also wanted to give a special shout out to Katie, who is their in-house Sommelier. She has curated a great selection of faccia brutto spirits (huge fan) that we tried and was very knowledgeable on them and had a great conversation with her. Will definitely be back! Thanks again!
Urban Hill is fantastic! Josh and the rest of the staff were so pleasant and attentive - my water glass was never empty (a detail I love). The lamb chops are an absolute must, all the food was delicious, and the wine list is fun to explore. Highly recommend!
