I was not picking up for myself, but for a food delivery service. I walked in around 8:30pm on 02/29 because I received the customer's order from here. There were three employees there, 2 behind the counter working on the food and the 3rd was mopping. Immediately, I overheard the one who was mopping exclaim to their coworkers, "No. NO. You KNOW what time it is. NO." I initially ignored it because I assumed that employee was talking to the others, but as I realized she might have been talking to me, I felt unwelcome.I indicated I was there for a pickup and had to wait for a moment as the 2 behind the counter finished the order, which is understandable. I can wait. I don't have a complaint about them. The one mopping got frustrated with the other two and went to help, but with loud and aggressive commentary, practically berating and belittling the two to the point where it sounded as though one of them was trying to not cry. When my order was finished, she handed it to me and said 'sorry for the wait. Get out get out get OUT.'I understand that it is not ideal that there are customers coming in so close to closing, but the fact of the matter is the business is still open until 9pm. There is no indication that there is a limit to when someone can buy food, it's simply inconsiderate to the workers. There are more polite ways to let customers know that food can no longer be made or alternatively, again, while I know it's not ideal, if a customer is there before closing, they should still be treated as such.Sadly, I was not the only patron waiting. There was a dad and his son in the restaurant, having to listen to her gripe and complain and harass the others.I'm not partial to writing reviews but I had to for this location because if I had a negative experience as a delivery driver, I can't imagine an actual customer experiencing this. I hope this is read so she can be reprimanded or replaced. Sadly, I did not catch her name, but I wish I did.If you don't like your job, you are not required to stay.

Been going here for over a year and just found out they charge more for their subs here at Pinecrest Plaza versus a nicer location… When ordering a NY Steamer for example, it’s $8.19 for a medium at Kingstown location versus $9.99 at Pinecrest Plaza. For a Large it’s $10.99 at Kingstown versus $13.49 at Pinecrest… this is wrong! Food can take a really long time at this location even if you order on app.

We ordered pickup for a change. The sandwiches were good as usual. The website offered us coke zero and when we came to pickup they not only didn't have it, they didn't normally stock it. No, Diet Coke isn't the same. The worst thing is that they saw nothing wrong with offering is something that wasn't available! Very disappointing.

Mu sub was very good. I got this on a work trip and the subs were provided in boxes that included chips, a cookie, and condiments. The box acted as a plate and was very helpful.

Was here at 7pm Sunday. Person who seemed to be the manager was getting mad because there was 2 customers in the place. The service was slow and the food was not good. Who ever owns this franchise should be force to sell the place back to corp because it was clearly a franchise how unorganized it was ran. 2 of the 3 employees were seen picking their nose before preparing food. I took the food and threw it away.. I should have gotten a refund but it's 10 dollars so they will get this review.

Good food. Nice folks at this one. BBQ sandwich is my personal favorite. We don't have a lot BBQ places that do this kind of sandwich right. Firehouse always does.

Call ahead of time for my order, was told 10 mins and it would be ready, got there ten minutes after ordering over the phone and stood there waiting for 30 mins just to find my order sitting in a bag on top of the toaster. Communication! You make sandwiches. Your job isn't that hard.

The staff right now are really friendly. I've been here a few times recently, and they've always taken good care of us. Food's decent too.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free sub bread.

Everything needs to be upgraded to make it a decent sub ~ it can get a bit pricey. Unless there is a coupon or promotion offer, it's more cost effective to simply make your own sub at home.

- food was really good, everything was fresh and had nice flavor.- place was clean and organized.- staff were very friendly.- prices normal for the area.- parking hit or miss depending on time and day you go.- service was pretty normal, not extremely fast but not waiting forever either.- overall would go back to this location.

5 stars for taste, 4 stars overall...just because they aren't as quick as they used to be, and the app doesn't work 10% of the time.I love, love, love Firehouse as it superior to Subway and Quiznos in every way. Yes, you pay a little more, but it's worth it. Firehouse meats, breads and veggies seem to always be better quality than the competition. Now for the trick that will make those loyal to the competition flip...through the app, you can easily make your own combination...without having to point through the showcase of food stuffs - as Firehouse doesn't have one!As far as the pre-configured sandwich options, Firehouse is losing it's edge a bit with Subway's new menu options (as of Fall 2022). You could likely replicate the same exact sandwich at Firehouse, but it will cost you more.Firehouse also has one of the Coca-Cola based fountain drink machines so you can make hundreds of combinations of sodas, fruity juices, etc.Cookies, brownies OR chips...better cookies, but fewer options than Subway. Chip varieties vary, but about the same.Normally, I will pick up a Pepperoni Meatball sub. These are amazing and doesn't appear on the menu on the wall. Today, I am trying the limited-time Prime Rib Steak and let me tell you, it is all it's cracked up to be!What could be better? Staff churn here is pretty heavy...but that seems to be the norm in these post-COVID days. So, that means someone in the food assembly process tends to be a trainee. So, slower overall than the good old days, but if you're patient, you will be rewarded with an unbeatable sub!I will continue going back. Ordering through the app means you rarely have to wait...but even a wait isn't that long. Just consider that more is made fresh here than at the competition...so better quality and fresher ingredients make a happier human!Check them out...especially if you've grown bored of the cold cut kings, Subway!
