Coffee alright. Pies not as good as my own. One great perk is you can bring your dog in. Nothing else really going on. Interesting article about owner. washingtonian.com/2020/0…

I went here a couple times when I used to work in Crystal city and it was probably my favorite coffee place in the area.

I hope robs name is made right. The world is truly something else and people like Rob will get the good they deserve.he is a great person and his name is being lied upon trully having multiple people doesn't mean anything far more MANY MORE know he is a great guy and owner and innocent of such slander. I really pray all will be well no other way he will be.

Capaccino was watery and lukewarm. Service was not very good. There are a bunch of other coffee shops that are better in the area. Won't be going back there.

Great atmosphere, coffee and snacks. The music is always great and it's never too loud. Very clean and the food is always fresh. I enjoy going tuners to do school work and video editing. I wish there were more places like this.

Delicious and cheap. This was some wonderful coffee in a cute little shop with very friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I am in the area. Very highly recommend. You will not regret this.

Absolutely awesome experience! The three women working behind the counter were extremely personable and attentive - answering all my questions and providing quick and friendly service. The atmosphere of the cafe was cozy and inviting and the salteñas were delicious. Will definitely be back soon!

Owner is a disgusting bigot, coffee sucks, no food, dirty disgusting bathroom

We had high expectations for this place due to the reviews. They have a cool vibe and some unique items for sale such as humitas and saltenas. However, we were not impressed with the actual coffee. We ordered an iced latte and a turmeric latte and both were just OK. The ladies working the counter are very welcoming and friendly though.

Great coffee, but the best part was the staff. I didn't catch the guys name when I was there early Thursday afternoon, but was very friendly and made the place warm and welcoming. The interior was very cozy as well as the outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!
I used to like this spot. The concerns about treatment of staff and COVID denying by the owner should prompt people to stay away. If you want pie or empanadas, just get them from the places that actually make them.

If you're looking for a coffee shop to hang around Old Town, I recommend Killer ESP. They have a little area for backyard seating, and the shop has done a good job of social distancing inside. They have a variety of iced teas that vary on the week or season, so I would suggest trying their teas if you're a tea person. Their coffee is very good, and they have a good rotation of various roasters on the shelf. There are two things I noticed that have changed since COVID-19. The first is that they no longer carry Dangerously Delicious Pies. I loved being able to order a baltimore bomb or a key lime pie, but alas, they no longer carry them. The second thing I've noticed is that their opening hours are variable. I usually will go for a Sunday morning run, and there are times when I've walked past the coffee shop at 8 AM, and sometimes they're open and other times the shop is closed. I once walked past the shop around 8:30 am and it was still closed, so it's not just a couple of minutes that I'm talking about. But if you're not a morning or a sweet tooth person, you'll not have any problems with the two things I mentioned.

Great hidden spot to hit in Alexandria. Buddy the dog was a sweet surprise. Coffee is great and we social distancing is easy with all their tables. If it wasn't pouring rain during our visit, we would have missed the cute interior and fun plants.

I've been here twice now, and not only is the coffee STELLAR but the staff is all super friendly! They have dairy free options along with a display refrigerator full of unique health foods and drinks. They receive their baked goods from the LOCAL bakery, so when you come here you're not only supporting THIS small business but another as well. I've gotten an oat milk latte and just a straight black coffee from here, and my sister has gotten both a hot and iced flat white and we have never left dissatisfied. It is truly delicious! AND they have a cute doggo that lives here as well! Definitely try this shoppe out at least once!

great pies. Amazing coffee. This is my new go to for coffee. The owners little Boston terrier roams the place, which is a nice touch. Different from other coffee places in the area.
