I would only recommend this place for food or if you’re absolutely desperate for a karaoke bar. They charge you $5 per person to sing karaoke (when every other place I’ve been to is free) and it was very busy. Also the dj screwed up our names and song order. I put our song requests in together but he put hers in several songs later. We might have stayed longer but the wait to sing was an hour and a half. Steak fajitas and salmon burger were tasty though. The drinks were ok but the service was lacking. In addition to making us wait a long time, they don’t give you a towel or anything on the fajita skillet to stop you from burning yourself.

First of all, I understand that it was St. Patrick’s day weekend and it was busy, but there is no excuse for having to wait 20+ minutes not only for a drink but just to close my tab. When I finally got someone’s attention and asked to close out, they said, “There are other people waiting for drinks. I can’t do that right now.” They keep your card if you leave your tab open, but they have no system for storing the credit cards that are being held. One bartender had to look in 3 different cups for my card before being able to close my tab. And even worse, they advertise as a karaoke bar but you have to pay $5/person to sing karaoke and they have no system of saying who is up next. They just call one persons name a bunch of times while their song has already started to play.

We had the buffalo wings and they were great. The staff was fabulous but the ambience was very dark and dreary.
Worst service and lying bartender in Alexandria. Bartenders name is Jessica Collin’s- Took almost 30 minutes to order a drink- bartenders (JessicaCollins) was drunk or high of some sort and distraught seemingly nor able to handle her position at a busy bar.-Giving my card and placing my order, which I did recieve promptly.Walked away with the help of friend carrying 6 drinks in total for the group of 5 others I was with.-Never came to bar again to order but was at bar drinking with several other friends, which is when I learn my card didn’t work. I then gave another card. This aswell didn’t work. I then gave my ID and said I’ll be back.-Now here’s where the issue comes in. I just go home check my account the next day and there’s a 90+ dollar charge on my card from Jessica at Roc-It-Grille.I was busy and couldn’t make it in for a few days to dispute it so I called and was told my message sent to Owner.-I came in sometime later to pay my real tab(2Stellas,2Coronas,2Jamesons)…….. defiantly not 90sometjog dollars worth of drinks.-Now I’m forced with a manager to argue and tell what happened. I continue to tell them to pull up camera postage from the night at that point this manager flips my tab in half and tells me don’t come back. FINE BY ME……..- A week or so later I noticed a message from Jessica Collin’s no she wasn’t stalking we had happens to be friends o FB. Crazy huh…… she in turn stated that I “Take my broke trash self to other places and hat she would be putting the message feed on th NOVA SERVICE INDUSTRY page. Be sure to go there and ask for the camera photograph proof that shows she’s a liar and people please be care about your tabs at this place they add things on and steal your money.Amazing establishment, sorry, no good bartending. ROCK-It-GRILLE Lisren up stop stealing patrons money and praying on those who think are to drunk to knows goin on or remember and try to stay sober enough when behind the bar to handle your bar. Enjoy I could care less about goin back though I always run into good friends but after dealing with this it’s a loss.If any ever does go don’t order from Jessica Collin’s or give her your card she’s stealing. Pay attention customers, redhead pale, kinda ratty looking, most likely high on Coke. Shady person she is

Went on a Saturday night. It was really really crowded, everywhere. Couldn't even move. Bartenders were overwhelmed and it took forever to get a drink. Although my experience on a Saturday night wasn't the best, I'd probably go at a less crowded time.
