Renovation is superb. Great vibe, especially for watching sports. Love the designated NFL flags for viewing your favorite teams on Sundays. Food is great.
Good food and even better customer service. Restaurant is clean and offers bar seating, regular dining and outside seating.
I really enjoyed this place, the dishes had a excellent flavor.
My rating is purely for their Happy Hour, which was very reasonably priced, with a fun atmosphere. The food that we did have (we're vegetarian) was quite good, and the drinks were tasty. The service at the bar was fantastic! Highly recommend for a laid back Happy Hour!
It was late on a Friday so we grabbed 6 seats at the back bar area so we could sit quick without a wait. They were busy! The bar was hopping and the bartenders didn’t slow for the two hours we were there. Even though they were busy they were very accommodating. I think the food delivery guys were confused as they kept delivering our food to the wrong people and one couple actually started eating it! It all worked out. We are from the south so we like a sweet tea but they didn’t have it. We settled on some hummus, fried pickles, fries (potato wedges), and a sandwich. The food was delicious and well plated. I really thought I might be interested in dessert but the timing was not right as it was getting late.
Holy cow, this was amazing. We started with the garlic bread -nicely seasoned, oozing with butter, garlic and cheese. The pretzels with beer cheese were more like pretzel roll bread, but the cheese was fantastic. We moved to entrees. Louisiana chicken was a delicious skillet of chicken, sausage, and fresh peppers. The pasta and chicken was huge and delicious. Everything else was great.Highest recommendation.
Great atmosphere the food was delicious and outstanding customer service
Great food and service. I would recommend if you are in Alexandria VA
Went here a couple of times during my several days in Old Town. Fantastic prices for beer and appetizers during happy hour. Not a large beer selection but varied and adequate.
I was here a year and a half ago and the food and services was amazing. Today it was the opposite, the server was really nice and all but extremely slow, I order a burger without lettuce and tomatoes for my son and it came with everything on it, my chorizo tacos tasted horrible and the ribs where no good. Sorry but I will never go back.
I came because the reviews said the lamb was amazing, but to my disappointment lamb is no longer on the menu. However, the salmon was decent and the naked lemon pepper wings were amazing. Get lamb back on th menu and I'll be back.
We enjoyed a nice dinner here. Convenient to National Harbor by car. Easy parking just outside curbside. The service was great and food came fast. There were 3 diners and we all loved our food. Seems like a local place and the atmosphere was a bit noisy with conversations. Still overall great experience and food very tasty between Fish tacos, cheeseburger and fries and Louisiana entree. We would return.
I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it suffers from a common sports bar syndrome ... good appetizers and underwhelming entrees. Maybe I was unlucky with my order, but the Reuben sandwich I ordered here was legit one of the worst sandwiches I ever had. It was insanely greasy, the corned beef was completely flavorless and an absence of dressing pretty much made the entire sandwich a total inedible mess. It didn't help that the server strongly recommended this as a real good menu option. I hate wasting food but it says a lot when I left 95% of the sandwich behind. Conversely, the appetizers were okay. The wings were fine and the garlic bread was pretty solid. I've been to many sports bars/restaurants that have had this similar issue ... okay appetizers coupled with bad entrees. My friends ordered the ribs and I sampled some. The ribs were average at best, nothing special to report back on. Another friend ordered a burger and thought it was average as well. Generally speaking we had a large party and nobody walked away particularly happy with the food. However, the service was good and the ambiance was lively, as one would expect from a place of this nature. Personally I'd suggest coming here just for drinks and some simple appetizer noshes. From my experience, I wouldn't come here to eat any full on meals.
Great food, great service and a great atmosphere.
The fish&chips is great, and the local beer terrific.
