Sushi and appetizers were top notch. Service was prompt and attentive. Of the 3 all you can eat sushi I've been to in the NoVa area, this was the best. I really liked the tuna, Tokyo mami roll, bolgogi, and gyoza.

My only feedback is I wish you could get more than one piece of the tuna belly on the all you can eat. That cut was insanely good.

I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Tried the AYCE lunch. You can choose their nigiri, normal rolls, and special rolls. Sushi was delicious! The sushi rice and the fish were REALLY GREAT quality. The appetizers were alright. Service was very friendly, but got a pretty slow at the end of our meal.

Excellent option for Annandale. Also you can ask for the dinner menu, even in lunch time. I was very impressed with the high quality of the sushi. This is a must go place!

One of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spots around. The fish is fresh, rolls are well-balanced, and everything comes out quickly. The menu has a great mix of sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes so you never get bored.

The owner and staff are super friendly and attentive, they literally made me feel at home. You can tell they care about every customer who walks in. The restaurant’s vibe is amazing, warm lighting, clean setup, and music that makes you feel like you’re in Tokyo for the night.

Overall, great food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again.

visited Issho Izakaya in Annandale after seeing their All You Can Eat ad in the local newspaper. I learned that sashimi is not included in the lunch AYCE menu, only in the dinner option, but I decided to try the lunch anyway.

There were so many menu choices that I wasn’t sure what to get, but the server was really kind and recommended some popular dishes like tako wasabi, nigiri sushi, and amaebi. The sushi quality was surprisingly fresh for an AYCE menu, and the staff checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed.

The menu variety was great, and I thought it would be an even better experience to come back for dinner and enjoy it with a drink.
Even though sashimi wasn’t included, for the price, it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Issho Izakaya Sushi! The food is absolutely delicious — the sashimi is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the hotpot is super tasty with rich broth and high-quality ingredients. Everything comes out fast, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels cozy and stylish.

Tried this place for the second time for their new ayce menu. Menu itself sounds great in theory, however their execution lacks heavily. Limitations on premium fish is understandable -giving paper thin slices of sashimi for the “one time order” is not. Clearly the quality of the fish is lower than your typical sushi restaurant bc of ayce, but it’s not bad at all per se. One thing to note is the subpar service. Multiple times we got served the wrong dishes to our table by the same server, was not given any ginger/wasabi with all of the sushi and overall it seemed like a lack of training possibly. (Could just be a back of house employee aiding the front as she was wearing a hat) Lots to improve on as a whole but not a bad start.

1st time here with the kids on their no school day. They absolutely devoured the food. We had 2 sushi plates, the skewer appetizer, 1 udon, and 1 ramen. The employees were super nice and gave us complimentary fried squid, which was absolutely amazing. The food came pretty quickly after we ordered. This experience was amazing and we would definitely come back.

A go to spot for me for good sashimi. They are very consistent with their fish and quality is very good for the price!

This is the second time to come over here the I love sushi very fresh salmon uni taste amazing. The service was very good take a good care of customer give us test new menu for on the house. Very kindness. Highly recommend definitely come back will bring all my family and friends.

I recently dined at a Issho Izakaya, the restaurant served up a fantastic lineup of comfort food classics, and I’m still thinking about it. From soups to crispy bites, everything felt authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. If you're craving a warm, comforting meal with a mix of textures and flavors, this place hits the mark. I’ll definitely be back—probably for another round of Nabe and Ramen!
