World class dining with smiling service. The food is amazing, and Javier was lovely, flexible and knowledgeable. We made last minute changes and they got us our orders to us perfectly food is very high quality. It is not cheap, however the food is still better than what you pay for. The best Italian restaurant in the DMV area. I also love that they make the pasta in front of windows so you can see.

Sfoglina has been on my list to try for a while now and finally we went tonight. Overall, enjoyable but not sure if we would go again. We both had a spritzer which was very good but did not seem like the 22 oz as described. Grilled calamari was delicious and the garlic bread with provolone was good but not remarkable. I was really looking forward to the pasta but my husband and I were disappointed in our choices. I had the tagliatelle and it was good but not remarkable. My husband did not like the goat cheese ravioli. The lemon zest was overpowering and the dish tasted unbalanced. Both dishes came out hot. Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 pasta dishes came out and the fourth person had to wait for her linguine alle vongole. It'a always awkward, do you start because you don't want the pasta to cool and even if the other diner insists we start, I feel bad for eating while they have to wait. I frequently get the linuine alle vongole if it is on a menu but did not order it here because it said that it has tomatoes in the description and usually traditional alle vongole does not contain tomatoes. Well, when her alle vongole came out, there were no tomatoes in it. I saw on one internet review photo that the linguine had tomatoes, so I'm not sure what happened tonight. My husband and I split the chestnut panna cotta for dessert. I LOVE panna cotta and make it myself. THIS panna cotta texture was definitely not correct. It was so runny and soft. Flavor was okay but texture was unappealing. Not sure if the citrus elevated the panna cotta. It just didn't taste great together. Was looking forward to finding a truly good pasta restaurant. Will continue the search.

Always a solid bet! It's a bit pricey for what you get, however, so be careful!

who serves burrata with no bread. we had to pay for extra bread? and it was cheesy oily bread - regular toast is not a option. and were told most people ate burrata with a "fork or spoon".we spent $600+ here and that's all I remember lol.

Went there last night with a gift card that had no date on it. They said it expired 2 months ago and would not honor it.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in DMV. I can’t describe in words how the experience from beginning till end is just so perfect. If you come after 5pm, they will validate your parking so no worries about Rosslyn parking issues. When you come inside, there are so many options of places to sit and the restaurant is very roomy. I’ve visited during lunch and dinner - the staff is wonderful. My favorite pasta to order is definitely the Tagliatelle Aglio e Olio. It is soooo smooth and silky. The fresh homemade pasta just melts in your mouth and fills you with the creamy garlic-y flavor. The burricotta cheese is the best part because it slowly melts into the pasta. The best dessert is definitely their Piemontese Gianduja, their chocolate hazelnut cake. It taste like nutty-choco decadence. Sometimes if you’re lucky, the server will bring some fresh complimentary gelato on the house and it is the perfect pairing with their cake slices. Best of all, when you’re all done and can’t eat anymore - your server will pack your food and give you a number slip. At the door you can grab your leftovers, all neatly packed for you for your safe travel home.Parking: After 5PM - parking in the garage is validated at checkout

Got the Pappardelle and it was disappointing. I was looking for something similar to l'ardente's Pappardelle, but this was not it. Noodles were different and just disappointing and nowhere worth the price it was

Great food and great service. A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion. I went for dinner time during the week and sat at the bar. Even though they were very busy, the bartenders were still very attentive to all of their guests.

We came to "Sfoal-yee-nah" for a business dinner as the place is close to the Microsoft office in Arlington. The seating was a bit tight for a bigger party but the service was pretty decent and good. I did not like the red wine blend they served although the cappuccino was fairly decent. I was also not too impressed with the food and the chicken dish I got was very bland but the salad was decent and dessert (tiramisu) was good as well. I'm not sure if I wanna come back again or not.

As a lover of Fiola and Fiola Mare, we wanted to try Sfoglina too and it didn't disappoint! Try their Winter Buratta - creamy buratta with sun-dried tomato pesto - a perfect complement. We had the pasta trio - a fun way to try several pastas - but they are rather large portions. The cacio e pepe was our favorite - creamy sauce with just the right amount of pepper. Other standouts were the prosciutto tortellini and got cheese ravioli. We ended our meal with creamy tiramisu. Perfetto! Ci vediamo a presto.

We went here before a show at the Kennedy Center. The place is very cute. Our waitress was amazing - friendly and attentive. Food was good. I had the pappardelle and my husband had a ravioli special. I liked mine more than he did. The wine was excellent and our starter of burrata and bread was also good.

First of all, making a reservation is recommended. We walked in to this restaurant w/o reservation by 7:00pm on a weekday and it was an hour wait for a table for 3. So we decided to sit at the counter facing the kitchen as offered. We had arugula salad, linguini and ravioli dish of some kind. Both are very good. Sorry I don't remember names but I assume everything is uniquely amazing. Ashley who took care of our meal was super kind, knowledgeable, and professional.Because of the table situation, she brought us complimentary cookies form the house that were also delicious. The restaurant atmosphere was lively.
