One of our go-to breweries in the DMV. Friendly, fast service even when it’s crowded, great live music, good variety of beer and family friendly.

i was charmed by my first two visits here, but the third time has shown me that i will not be returning. i went with my partner and his friends to celebrate someone's wedding, a psuedo bachelor party on a friday. the server, who i think was new, was rude and told my boyfriend to "slow down" on his third beer (he was entirely cognizant and polite). on my tab i bought us 5 drinks and an $8 pretzel that wasn't good enough to finish. it was a just okay night but it didn't end there.sunday at work i went to purchase my lunch and my card was declined. i checked my bank account to see a $75 charge from the brewery, and two pending charges, $50 and $25. i was aware of the very high $50 authorization charge but was assured by the server that it cleared once i closed my tab. although im not sure what the $25 charge is for. it was a sunday so i used cash and assumed they would clear by monday. no luck. tuesday still had me in the negatives so i contacted my bank and learned that pending charges can not be disputed. i left a voicemail with the brewery explaining my situation, asked for a call back and recieved nothing. wednesday, they opened at 3 so i checked my account at 4 and still had the pending charges. i called again with no answer during their business hours. i'm not sure how long this will go on but it has been very stressful and frustrating. im obviously not in a great place financially and fear that i will not receive any kind of recourse in this situation.reading through other negative reviews i see other people have had similar experiences and also that the owners are apparently holding a historic black cemetery legally hostage. i regret spending any money here. my boyfriend, friends, and i will not be returning here.i will update if anything comes of this

It's a very spacious brewery with great beer and good food. They have axe throwing, campfires, and both outdoor and indoor seats. There was a band playing when we went. They also have a ton of parking space.Really good vibe!

Beer was awesome. Service was awesome. Wings great. Popcorn meh, not as good as theatre or microwave. Pretzel was pretty much a salt lick versus nice fluffy dough, obviously bought premade for the masses.

We went early on a Friday night. The place looks very nice and the beer I had was good. I would have liked to try more, and the beer tenders offered samples, but I couldn't get a flight because it would have been too time consuming for the tenders. This was explained to me, as I was talking to two of them, while three more were helping the only other person at the bar. So it was one and done.

Great venue and atmosphere. Family friendly. The main facility is clean and the beer is decent. Always seem to have a good food truck on site and that's a plus.

Although the beer selection was great and tasty the service was terrible! Also they advertise the best wings in the area and they were not edible. Did enjoy some football . . .

Interesting place that is on the burial grounds of a slave cemetery? Just like all brewery’s nothing special. But in litigation over where it’s located—disgusting! Won’t be supporting this place.

The beer is fine, the atmosphere/location are nice. Just don't come for the food, it's not very good.

Very cool place. TONS of indoor and outdoor seating. The yard and axe throwing look awesome. Nice beer selection and some food too.

Ok at best. Running their staff ragged, and the GM is rude.I understand there is a national shortage of people who want to work, but try treating them better.I used to enjoy this venue. No longer.

I have literally been trying to get ahold of someone in charge of coordinating an event for a graduation party next year. I have left a message with managers over five times in the last 3 weeks and still have not had a phone call back. I hope the owner of this business is seeing this message because clearly some of their staff are not helping this business. If I can't get a call back for my event after FIVE messages, then imagine how much more business you're missing out from other people not getting called back. I guess I'll just call 2Silos. Ridiculous....
