Ate there a few times until a close friend told me how the cooks don't wash their hands, or use gloves. Meaning they're touching your food with their bare hands, as well as they will drop food on their nasty floors and throw it back in the fryers and still serve it to customers. Unnecessarily unsanitary. No thanks.

This Golden Skillet location is slowly falling off. What happened to light and crunchy chicken in the big skillet? I hope this location will do better soon. My girlfriend has felt nauseous twice after eating here. I don't think she'll let me stop here again, but I'll check again in a 6 months or so.

The chicken was delicious came with biscuits Macaroni an cheese an green beans, the green beans were so salty we could not eat them, I purchased a family meal

One of the most reasonably priced meals in the area. I've tried everything from fried chicken to the fried fish dinners and everything is really good. I'd make the 30 min. drive anytime to eat here.

We had pulled up to the drive thru 10 minutes before they were to close after being on the road for over an hour. The girl comes across the speaker and ask for our order, we had told her just a minute please. She goes on to say ohhh actually we are closed. Yall close in 10 minutes, she said we closed a couple minutes early. There were 2 cars in the drive thru already, how hard would it have been to drop chicken in the deep fry. Will never stop at The Golden Skillet again.

I went by to drive thru and made 2 orders only got 1 after order was read back to me like I ordered it the woman was off and on cell phone texting and talking to busy to get order right

Dated but clean. Food is just okay. Nothing to drive out of your way for. With little competition in the area the owner seems content with so-so.
