We went into cape Charles for dinner. I had a few picky eaters with me that loved the food. I highly recommend this place

Very low key environment. Had 7 people in our party. 3 kids. Server was very friendly and to the point. Food was very fresh and high quality. Probably some of the best catfish I've had in a while. Not sure what type of experiences these other people had but ours was good.

Don’t pay attention to that Brandon hall guy he was a jerk. And started getting rowdy with the employees. Anyways the wings were good as always.

Stopped in here by accident and couldn't have been happier. Fantastic food - the cod was amazing - and great service. Would take this over the more trendy (and packed) places around town. They stayed open late for my family to finish our meal. Super kind.

The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. It did take a little longer than expected to get our food, but they were busy so I understand and that's fine. I'd go back again.

We were not wanted there. The food was just okay but when you know you're an unwanted guest- I'll spend my money elsewhere. I typically don't post negative reviews at all. But all I can say is that some places prefer to have local clientele and not tourists, and although I don't feel like we act as tourists I'll be coming to Cape Charles for many years. Some friends and I walked in and weren’t greeted very well. The person who seated us was quite rude and not very welcoming. However, our waitress was very nice, unlike the woman who seated us. We’ll be going to AJ’s next time.

To start off I stood in line behind 6 people to place an order only to be told, I am trying to ring people out you can go over there and she can take your order… mind you this is the same person that gave me the menu. Sat there for 46 waiting for a to go order that I was told would take 20 minutes while the whole time several parties came in sat down was service and got their meals. The two wait staff keep walking by us bringing out food for others and cleaning tables… I finally got up again and asked how much longer only to be told the recipe didn’t print in the back and the kitchen is busy but they can start the order now… but you both walked us several times and did not acknowledge that we were still sitting there…I am an out of town visitor and this place was referred…. First impression horrible!!!!….. wait staff horrible!!!! Refund!!

We were seated right away on a sunny saturday afternoon by super friendly staff. The food was perfectly cooked with simple and straightforward flavors. You cant beat their prices either. Highly recommend.

My husband and I usually order take out,but we decided today to dine in and we're both happy about our decision. First I would like to say,the wait staff were outstanding!!! Now listen the food was superb. I ordered butterflies shrimp, mac&cheese and turnip greens,the hubby ordered fried catfish,mac&cheese,and turnip greens it was all fresh, seasoned to perfection.
