I was in this AM to get breakfast and a coffee. The restaurant was really busy and the staff was doing their best. Unfortunately, a lady , who didn't think she should wait, started yelling at a young gentleman working the counter. I don't think I've ever seen a more unreasonable, entitled crab in my life. Hats off to the staff who calmly handled her tantrum. If the staff reads this, remember, people like this do not matter.

Unfortunately I cannot speak on the food because we never received it after waiting 50 minutes for an order we were told would take 25 minutes. I rarely leave a bad review because I try to take into consideration the lack of staff and other factors but the service my husband and I received today was really gross. Before even given them our order I asked for the wait time on a to go order because there were so many people there. The young man with the silver cross chain informed us it would be 25 minutes on a breakfast sandwich and one of their breakfast entrees. After 30 minutes of waiting and noticing people after us receiving their orders my husband checked to make sure ours was not just waiting on the counter but it wasn’t. Now at 40 minutes after we ordered togo, I asked this same kid how much long would it be because it has been 20 minutes passed what we were told and he goes back to the kitchen and says it will be another 5 minutes. 10 minutes later (we are now at 50 minutes) someone from the kitchen brings out an order for someone who ordered like 10 minutes ago. I ask this same kid why have been waiting for now almost an hour for our food and he goes back to the kitchen and tells us it will be 10 more minutes and he “ doesn’t run the kitchen and has no control over the food back there” in the most arrogant attitude. I ask for a refund, and tells me a wait and proceeds to ignore me. This whole time the “manager” is behind him and can hear what’s going on but says absolutely nothing. Haven’t received and apology from either of them. I ask if that is the manager and he says yeah but she proceeds to come over, trying to give me the refund without saying a single word to me that at one point I ask her if she can just acknowledge that I am standing in front of her. I got me refund but had to ask for a printed receipt to make sure this refund goes through. Never at any point did any employee acknowledge the long wait or apologized. As a small business owner myself, I could never imagine having a business still if that is how I treated our customers when there was an issue. If someone would have just communicated and gave us an apology I would have been understanding but there wasn’t even an acknowledgment that I was a human standing in front of them. The only terrible experience we had while visiting the area the whole weekend. If they are short staffed or not prepared to be busy on a Sunday morning, then they should have a plan in place for pausing food orders when the kitchen and staffed are overwhelmed.

We stayed at the attached hotel and the Almeta offers a small complimentary breakfast to hotel guests (fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, granola, cereal, orange juice & coffee). We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well as ordering some extras! The cashiers are so kind and really made your morning! I got the smoothie bowl on day 1 and really loved that it was on a bigger bowl so the ratio of smoothie to toppings were better! The next day I got avocado toast in sour dough and added bacon! We also got iced coffees every day, my favorite was the honey lavender! They have tables for couples and families as well as a very cute bar seating by the window. We enjoyed the convenience of this breakfast spot but I did think it was a tad pricey.

Me and my girlfriends came here after we discovered that the coffee house was closed for the day. We were skeptical after visiting once and how expensive it was but decided to give it another try, and I wish we hadn't. One of my girlies had a hair in her food, and when it came out the second time it was not made the same as the first time. The bacon was frail, skimpy, and did not even taste good, not worth the extra $2. We got Nutella toast ($9), only one piece. Same with the avocado toast which was $11, you are not getting your moneys worth when you come here, and you have to buss your own table which i usually wouldn't complain but when it's this expensive I don't think that should be a requirement. Would not recommend and it's sad to say this because I'm a local and always looking for some good breakfast. I will say their coffee was not bad.

Located inside a hotel, we were not guests, walked off street as no other "coffee place" was open. Friendly, but very slow service. Shouldn't have to wait almost 30 minutes for a large black drip coffee and regular cappuccino. People behind us got their order first. We had to wait for the large carafe of black coffee to finish. IMO They should have a small pot for orders and not use same one for guests' area.

Everything I got was delicious but my favorite was the coconut mocha cold brew. The peace was clean and the food was delish.

Negative stars need to be a thing. Never ate any food. It didn’t look good. The service was terrible. The lady at the counter short girl with brown hair (bowl cut bangs) wire rimmed glasses, was very curt. I handed her a $10 bill. For a 3.50 cup of coffee. She handed me a dollar and 50 cents back. When I told her I handed her a 10 she snapped back that it was only a five. I said no ma’am. It was a 10. She said sorry it was a five. I asked her to check her drawer. She huffed and jerked the drawer open which was under the counter out of sight. She said nope I only have one ten here and it was already here when I opened. I’m at a point where it’s not worth the hassle to deal with people like this. It’s 7.50 lost. But beware. I’d look elsewhere.
