I appreciated the man working the front who offered me utensils and was kind. The order was ready right on time and hot. My partner enjoyed the chicken katsu. For me, the bao buns had great flavor. But as other people mentioned, they are very stingy with the meat portions. It ruins what would otherwise be an excellent meal and leaves you feeling like the food wasn’t worth what you paid for it. ~$5 per bun for what is basically 60% dough, 30% slaw, and 10% meat. -2 stars.
Ordered online. Food was ready 10 minutes later than guarantee. I was the only person waiting for food. No utensils in the bag. Online prompts by default tip 20% on an online carry out order. Food wasn’t even that great. The pork belly bao buns had such a small amount of meat inside. Only reason we sometimes get it is because my girlfriend likes it.

The small pieces of tenders is new and not like in the past. We would travel here and not use the Gainesville location and they also skimp out on the size but not anymore. The order to go on Sunday is another example of owners getting over on the consumer and will not return.
Wooboi Chicken is way better and gives the same size today as they did 3 years ago.

I order 4 soy garlic wings and 4 Korean bbq wings. The taste and flavor was good however, a few of the wings were overcooked and cold.

55$ in food& it was almost inedible. The chicken was tough, burnt, and the chicken was almost hallow. It was terrible. I haven’t had bonchon in a long time and was super excited only to be very disappointed.

I ordered the Wed. lunch special in person at the restaurant. Service was good, and the chicken was hot and prepared in a reasonable amount of time. BUT, the chicken (including drumsticks) was very dry/overcooked. I wondered if maybe it had been reheated - it was that dry. Might have been OK if they hadn’t been so stingy with the sauce - it was VERY sparingly drizzled over the chicken, not coming close to coating it. The fries were good - well cooked & hot. The meal wasn’t awful, but there’s better K chicken in the immediate area.
We had a bowl of plain Udon Soup (great broth), Korean BBQ wings (8pcs) with coleslaw. Food was delicious! As for the dishwasher glass racks, cases of napkins and soda cups in the dining area, these should be hidden in storage.
We decided to order takeout at a restaurant. After we received the food, we ended up eating some of it inside the restaurant. We politely asked for plates and water, which the crew gave us. However, the staff said, “Next time, if you want to dine in, you have to choose.”
To show our appreciation and avoid any misunderstanding, we ordered again and even left a tip. But the crew insisted not to take the tip and said, “Next time when you choose dine-in, I’ll accept it.”
What made the situation worse was that he kept repeating “next time”—over and over—as if we had done something very wrong. It started to feel like we weren’t really welcome just because we ordered takeout and then decided to sit and eat a bit inside.
We left the restaurant feeling very uncomfortable and unsure. Did we really do something wrong? We didn’t mean to break any rules or cause trouble. We even ordered more food and offered a tip as a gesture of respect. But the repeated comments and tone made the experience feel unnecessarily awkward and unwelcoming.
✅ What you did:
• You initially ordered takeout, which is common.
• You ended up eating part of your food inside, and politely asked for plates and water.
• You even ordered again and left a tip, trying to be considerate and respectful of the staff.
• You were trying to make things right, not cause trouble.
⚠️ What the crew did:
• The staff saying “next time if you want to dine in, you have to choose” sounds a bit harsh and unnecessary, especially if the restaurant wasn’t full or had no policy clearly posted.
• When a staff member keeps repeating “next time,” it can feel like you’re being lectured or scolded, even if you didn’t break any rules. This tone creates embarrassment for customers, especially in public. People go to restaurants not just for food, but also for comfort and experience. Being reminded several times of what you “should do next time” kills the mood and can make customers think twice about returning—even if the food was good.
• Their tone and approach made you feel uncomfortable, which means their customer service was lacking.
Bottom line:
• You were not in the wrong.
• The crew could have handled the situation better, maybe by politely explaining any dine-in policy if they had one.
• If they were upset about people eating in after takeout, they could have calmly clarified the policy without making you feel unwelcome or pressured.
We acted in good faith when we chose to dine in after originally planning to take out. The restaurant should prioritize clear communication and customer courtesy—not making guests feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. It’s important to treat all customers with respect, regardless of their decision. Hospitality means making people feel at ease, not pressured.
Chicken was good enough but i have had better bonchon. Customer service was good.
Love it !

The staff are friendly and the food come out fast but they’ve consistently left out ingredients like bonito flakes on the Takoyaki
First time leaving a review for a place, which shows how disappointed I am. The chicken was completely soggy, so much so that the box broke open from the bottom when we lifted it out of the bag. It was not crispy and practically cold to boot - like eating day old chicken straight out of the microwave. I don't understand why I received soggy, cold chicken despite arriving early for my pickup order. I've had food here before and been pleased, but this experience truly soured me on this location. I'd rather find a new Korean chicken place than waste my money with another meal like that. If I'd been dining in and gotten this meal, I would've asked to have it remade because it was unacceptably bad.
Got a promo message from their text system. I accidentally open the promo 30 min before they open. I didn't know the promo expire in 30 min. They said they wouldn't honor it, which is okay. Lol but they also say they never here such thing as birthday promo.
Ordered for next day online. The food ready at exactly time requested. Delicious half and half wings and street corn. Sooo good!!!

We ordered bulgogi tacos and paid $15 each, but all we got was coleslaw, lettuce, and sauce (for $15 !? Really???)The meat was barely noticeable. This is my first and last time eating here!
