When I recently had the opportunity to tour UVA with my daughter, I seized the chance to discover a hidden gem in the area. A recommended spot was Box’d Kitchen, and its unique and delightful flavors pleasantly surprised me. Upon the first bite, I noticed its healthy appeal. The incredibly friendly staff added to the positive experience, making it a bonus for first-time visitors. I eagerly look forward to revisiting when my family returns to Charlottesville.

Ordered on doordash for the first time ever. Chicken was great… but the steak was ridiculously gross. It was steakum thin and quality was less than. The quantity was also significantly less compared to the pictures on google. It definitely looked and tasted like they scrapped the bottom of a pan and served half of the quantity. They made up for it with rice and iceberg lettuce. Wish I had thought to take a picture before eating it so I could share for visual context. So disappointing

I love their lamb meat! Very convenient for lunch. I like the fact that they have a few good options as opposed to a huge menu since I have a hard time picking what to eat.

Good, fast food. Service is pleasant food is pretty healthy. Also excellent that it's right across the street from the Hampton Inn hotel which makes it convenient.
The rice they use is very cheap. The meat tastes okay. But the portion is toooooooo little. Even for a gal who weighs less than 120lb. I spent 14 dollars on this but I’m still very hungry after eating.

The food is absolutely delightful and delicious. I have recommended it to my sister once & it seems every time that I have follow appointments here at UVA Medical we always try support this business. We have however dined in once & customer service was great as well. Greeted once we came in the door & our food was fresh!!!Great timing on when out food was brought to us. Love this place so much! I've been here so many times and always enjoy my meal. The meat is always tender and I love the sauce that they drizzle over the meat and rice. The portion size is perfect -- not too little and not too much. Service has always been speedy in my experience, which I appreciate. If you're in Charlottesville, you MUST visit this place!!
