Al Carbon food in a kid oriented environment. Perfect! If we want to actually go sit at a restaurant, this is the only place we will take our busy 2 year old.

Food was good, service was terrible. The waitress barely acknowledged us, and didn’t even say hello. Just a bored “do you know what you want?” She then forgot our drink order, and couldn’t be bothered to look it up. She then got annoyed when I asked for a straw for the kid’s water (which had a lid on it). Never refilled anything, never checked on us or spoke until it was time to pay the bill. Really poor.

It was ok food. My family was treated wierdly and one of my older children were offered snacks, which was M&Ms, pretzels, peanuts, and raisins. When our nachos which we ordered finally came, we only got one when we ordered two. We asked for another one and it was made. The nachos were messed up multiple times. They finally came out both correctly and were pretty decent. I will never go to chew chew town again.

Delicious food and my kid loves it here. Today we went when they were supposed to be open and they were closed. I had one disappointed kiddo. But we will come back another day.

The food was incredible, and the kids had so much fun. By the time the had finished discovering all the different trains the food had arrived. I had the pollo cemitas, and it was delicious, and huge! I had to take half of it home!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Excellent food (same menu as Al Carbon next door), great activities for the kids, friendly staff, and cocktails for the parents if you so desire.

Good food and fun atmosphere- especially for kids of all ages...

What a fun place to eat with your kid!! The Solo Pollo (quarter size) didn't need sauce to make it delicious, but you do have a choice of different salsas to go with it. The fresh guacamole and fried plantains were on point. Last but not least their tamales is homemade. The price is decent. Our one year old son was so excited to see the trains going around the restaurant...we were too. Such an awesome concept!

The food here is really good and the ambience is super fun and original for children. The food for adults is pretty amazing it is basically the L Carbone place and the food is really good the chicken rotisserie is spectacular I ordered the phalantus and they were so delicious my son got a hot dog which was pretty normal I would say the adult food is much better than the kid food but he really enjoyed that it was delivered on a train the plantanes were pretty good I would not say absolutely amazing but plantanes are one of my favorite things to eat

Amazing food, awesome setup, just wish it was a little quicker for the kids.

Get the whole chicken with sides! Best deal in town. Delicious food and kids can play.

Is there such a thing as too kids friendly? It's basically a Mexican restaurant (who doesn't love Mexican food), with a train theme. We arrived just after lunch hour, and there was limited seating. We noticed they have a take-a-number system for busy times; fortunately, the train table occupied the kids long enough for a spot to be cleared. Speaking of distractions, there was also a model train running through model mountain town, a train suspended from the ceiling, and a train that runs orders out; additionally, there was a fish tank, a chalk wall, and an annoying train whistle as you exit. They also have souvenirs for sale. The food was delicious, the atmosphere chaotic, but I can see this place being a blast with a group.

Great concept. Terrible staff. Double charged my friend and yelled at my kid for touching the train after multiple other kids had done the same. Rude staff and food was all incorrect. Such a shame that a wonderful place for kids is ruined by lack of staffing.

A novel concept and the kids loved it! All the decor is train themed, there is a train suspended from the ceiling, a play train set and you are seated on stools around a train track on which your food is delivered. The setup is quite cute. It gets 4 stars because while I love the concept, the service was not outstanding. This may be partly because there were a lot of people, the noise level, or the fact that there were only 2 people working the floor for 20+ guests at any time. I had a difficult time understanding the waiter and he had a hard time hearing me, so I got regular tacos instead of the tacos on flour tortillas and with cheese that I had ordered. When I asked for cheese it took several minutes so I was down to 1 taco by the time I got it. It also took them a while to get around to us after we initially sat down. Those things aside, the employees were nice and very busy! I will say that the portions are generous and one thing I loved was that they provided the kids complimentary snack bags while we waited that had Graham crackers and m&ms. The food was really good. The menu is mainly Mexican fare plus burgers and a kids menu that includes macaroni, chicken and hot dogs as well. I would recommend at least once just for the experience, especially if your kids are like mine and love trains! It may help to point to the menu while ordering just to avoid mixup or any hearing issues.
